I am totally amazed at her wonderful skills and sharing with us all. Hard work for certain but what a super reward at the end to ease those sore muscles and aching back once the pool is finished. Mmmm bit concerned it will crack and break up.There is no support in the walls or base,all that water is a massive weight and will probably push the walls out over time and the floor will get crushed and split. There's no solid base or proper foundation or nothing to reduce land movement. For all her efforts and hard work I'm afraid within 6 months it will probably be rubble😢😢

This lady works,so hard. What a work ethic she has. A little FEB in the mix and some waterproofing compound would have made the cement render so much easier to apply. But she managed it. Such a determined lady.

It looks like a more roman kinda concrete no gravel more like Roman bricks are made from if it has lime and ash it will selfe heal cracks from the water in the pool realy a smart way of doing this and she might have help but she picks up that bag of mix and is doing work most u wouldnt try so dont hate in joy
Absolutely! The Roman's buildings are still standing after 2000 years because of just what you wrote. It is self healing. Our buildings hardly last 200 years! I'm a pool builder here in Florida. If they take the flyash (by-product of coal) out of the gunite and it cracks, there is no stopping it. Fascinating.

I don’t really know anything about making pools but I know water is heavy stuff about 1kg/litre. I would expect to see some steel or reinforcements, one course of bricks doesn’t seem enough and a thin layer on the floor would crack?

The pool is too much big and the wall of pool is so thin so when you put water in that pool can’t keep it and the wall will downfall so you must protect around the wall with clod and soil to be strong from out side too \ thanks miss gorgeous ❤️🌹❤️
I believe she knows that.... I hope it will stand up to the pressure even with compacted soil around the outside. There is no reinforcement steel in any part of the walls or floor.

I have never wanted anything in my life to do this much work for. I had a swimming pool once, most of my involvement with it was maintenance, actually swimming gets boring really fast. But i still had to sweep it, scoop it, vacuum it, check the chemistry, add stuff, and also backwash the filter. And of course go to the stuff to get chemicals and bags of diatomaceous earth for the filter. But this doesn't seem to have plumbing for a pump system, taking care of that water will be tough. The work she's doing now is only the beginning.
@@markcleaver6573 I actually didn't have kids at that time, but if I did and they just didn't want to use it, that would be a bummer. But hey if you don't mind doing the work, good for you. I just found that the novelty wore off and people stopped using it, but all the maintenance remained.
She never shows the absolute mountain of cement bags she must have, which she had to have delivered, and since she did that, why not have a cement truck come up and delivered mixed for the floor? Mixing that much in a wheel barrow is an insane amount of work.

Интересно смотреть за работой, но хотелось бы посоветовать девушке при покрытии оштукатуренной поверхности тонким слоем жидкой шпатлёвки, то лучше и быстрее делать не шпателем гладилкой а малярным валиком, а уже после проходить шпателем гладилкой, работа бы пошла быстрее.
Die hart gebrannten Ziegelsteine die hier verarbeitet wurden halten viel aus. Der Pool hält eine Ewigkeit. Außerdem wird das Mauerwerk mit dem Putz noch mit einer Pool Farbe gestrichen. Mein Respekt wie du dieses Projekt allein gemeistert hast, mal abgesehen von dem Aushub.
No rebar in the bottom cement. Your nice pool bottom will crack and leak in no time flat. That will be a sad day. You put so much nice effort and work into it.
How many of us here actually know how to lay bricks or mix cement? Lets just enjoy the video and learn something and stop criticizing on what may or may not happen to the pool
That's a death trap. You need steel mesh in the floors along with rebar in the floor and walls. The walls aren't thick enough and you have no drain. Once the floors collapse the walls will follow. Never swim in something like this.

theres no steel what so ever!! amazing worker but pool will crack within 6 months to a year. 30 tonne of water pushing outwards omg

Die hart gebrannten Ziegelsteine die hier verarbeitet wurden halten viel aus. Der Pool hält eine Ewigkeit. Außerdem wird das Mauerwerk mit dem Putz noch mit einer Pool Farbe gestrichen.
Mein Respekt wie du dieses Projekt allein gemeistert hast, mal abgesehen von dem Aushub.
No rebar in the bottom cement. Your nice pool bottom will crack and leak in no time flat. That will be a sad day. You put so much nice effort and work into it.
Will it still do that in a tropical climate? I thought extreme heat and cold fluctuations are what causes cracks.

That's a death trap. You need steel mesh in the floors along with rebar in the floor and walls. The walls aren't thick enough and you have no drain. Once the floors collapse the walls will follow. Never swim in something like this.
