  • This video is decoding a Mechanical Push Button Combination Door Lock. They can be easy to decode providing right tension is used. Some are difficult too, hence reason we love lock picking and lock sport in general to show some faults and ways to open locks.
    These can be pin tumblers, warded locks, lever locks or combination type locks you see here.
    Hope you like.
    Happy Picking & Keep All Lock picking Legal.

    Ah good start to the year, I have one of those and worked on a home made bypass that you slip near the knob and feel for the spindle hook round it and turn!
    But I've got to try your method as not attempted that. Looking forward to seeing what you bring up in the new year,
    Happy new year Rich 👍

    Thanks for this. I was trying light tension to find the binders, but in this type of lock the heavier to apply tension the better feedback you get.
    Thanks buddy.
    You earned a sub from me.

    • @waddac2
      @waddac2  8 місяців тому +1

      Glad it helped buddy. Yes, many of theses need heavy tension on the wheel turner, hence reason now and again a pair of mole grips would help to add better tension rather than twisting for tension using fingers and thumbs. Again, glad it helped my friend.
      And if you have subbed, thank you so much for that.

    So I got a notification I wanted to reply to, but you deleted my reply about not being able to use repeat numbers, and you can use them in any order? Not sure why? Oh well, happy picking. Even easier to open these with a bypass too, takes seconds.

    • @waddac2
      @waddac2  3 місяці тому +1

      Yes, you can put the code in any way you want. I tell the same to people at work who get access to locks like these. I say, If you cannot remember code I told you, keep the numbers and letters the same, but key in, in an order you will easily remember.

    • @JamieTotal
      @JamieTotal Рік тому +1

      @@waddac2 Yes. Super quick. It was a push button to open, rather than a turn.
      It was a spare key holder, but the screws are on the inside, so we couldn't remove it without opening it. Now I can decide to remove or keep it.
      After seeing how easy it is to open... if I keep it, it won't be for a spare key. =)

Myself and my wife still did easter egg hunts for him, leaving clues in certain areas to lead him to next. My Son is 16 now and still loves fun challenges.... I buy him easter eggs now and slip £20 in each box. Well, you sound like a great parents with thoughts like myself, so love to you and your family.

    Just tried this to a newly fitted fire door as I didn't want to cause any damage (the joiner who fitted the lock has gone AWOL so nobody knew the code).
    Took me about 3 mins and I was in with the correct code! The code was 9402X so it wasn't an easy to guess code, thanks a lot for your help I've subscribed to the channel for future use 👍

      PS. Just for information, fire doors should not contain a lock such as this as a push bar will not over ride this lock on potential escape route.
