இந்த மெஸ்ல நான் சாப்பிட்டு இருக்கேன். எனக்கு தெரிந்தவரை சிறு கையேந்தி பவன் முதல், பெரிய ஹோட்டல் வரை கட்டி சட்னி, கார பச்சை மிளகாய் சட்னி, பொடி இவற்றிற்கு தனி விலை போட மாட்டார்கள். இந்த ராயர் மெஸ்லில் சட்னி, பொடி எல்லாம் தனி விலை இது என்ன நியாயம் எல்லா ஹோட்டலில் இட்லி, தோசை, பொங்கல் இவற்றிற்கு சட்னி,சாம்பார், பொடி எல்லாம் காசு இல்லாமல் தருவாங்க. அட சட்னி பொரிகடலை சட்னி. தேங்காய தேடனும். பொரிகடலை நிறைய போடுவதால் சட்னி சுமாராக உள்ளது. கட்டி சட்னிக்கு காசு கொடுக்கனும். இந்த ராயர் மெஸ்லில் இட்லி, பச்சை மிளகாய் சட்னி, வடை இவைகள் மட்டும் நல்லா இருக்கும். இடம் குறுகலான இடம். ஒருத்தன் மடியில் இன்னொருவர் உட்கார்ந்து சாப்பிடுவது போல் இருக்கும். எனக்கு திருப்தி இல்லை. மேலும் costly mess.நடுத் மக்கள் சாப்பிட முடியாது. பணம் பத்தாது.

நான் மைலாப்பூரில் பலவருஷங்கள் இருந்திருக்கிறேன். பலமுறை குடும்பத்துடன் சென்று சாப்பிட்டுமிருக்கிறேன். காலை நேரத்தில் கூட்டம் அதிகமாகவே இருக்கும்.
மாலையில் சற்றுக் குறைவாக இருக்கும். காரணம், இரு வேளைகளிலும் அவர்கள் அதிக நேரம் திறந்திருப்பதில்லை.
உணவுப் பொருட்கள் சுவையாக இருக்கும். சமீபகாலமாக விலைகள் சற்று அதிகமாகிவிட்டன.
நோய் தொற்று, சென்னையில் இப்போது தான் குறைந்துள்ளது அதற்குள் இவ்வளவு நெருக்கமான உணவு விடுதி ! 🗣
Bygone days. No longer this mess is good. Taste gone astray. I found insects in my food when I visited this joint a couple of years back. When I complained the owner behaved arrogantly. I don't suggest this joint to anyone. The price is 5* but quality is (- )5000*. Please don't go to this mess that too during this pandemic time.

Very very Expensive but pongal quantity not enough for the price. Normal person needs more than 100 Rs to have fulfilling Tiffin. Not worth for all the wait. Much better, cheaper ones are available. But just for the tradition gave the money and ate there once.

7 to 8 years back when I went there first time, when the food is hot the cooking mama will keep food onto your plate without asking, I was very annoyed first time...then I went second time I realised they do it to everyone and regulars don't get upset because they think they are doing it out of affection towards customers...very small but a very interesting place to eat...
