Gustav Holst United States Air Force Singing Sergeants, Dennis M. Layendecker, Various Artists Christmas Day Holst: Transcriptions and Original Works 75442259822 www.naxoslicens...
What is the name of the bouncy number at about 3:35? Just when I though I knew every Christmas song. Exceptionally well sung and recorded! If some of my tax dollars went towards this, I fully approve. Later - I looked it up - it is called ‘Come ye lofty, come ye lowly’ (Old Breton Melody) Holst set these traditional carols into this arrangement in 1910. ‘The Planets’ (highly original) would be written by him between 1914 and 1916.
Beautiful recording, Thanks for sharing-

It is an old Breton Melody - see www.wisemusicclassical.com/work/7647/Christmas-Day--Gustav-Holst/
