Vibe Shearwater or Bixpy rudder quick release mount

Quick release option for the Vibe Shearwater or Bixpy rudder. Quick, easy, and inexpensive. Works great with a Bixpy jet motor. Huge improvement in the turning radius and you can quickly remove the rudder.
Here’s what I used
ProGrip Deck Down 54190 tie downs
Bengor D loop QD sling mounts
Bengor heavy duty QD sling mounts designed for Picatinny rails
10-32 x 1” bolts
10-32 nylon lock nuts
5/32x7/8 fender washers.

@@how_i_do_this7605 I haven’t shopped for them in awhile, but check out the area in Lowe’s or Home Depot that has all of the bungee cords for something similar . That’s where I grabbed mine.

Should have saved my receipts because now I’m guessing. But I’m going to say maybe &30-40. Fortunately, weapons are pretty popular, so all of these parts are readily available. I will say that since the video has been posted, I’ve used this set up at a minimum of every weekend for my typical 8-12 hour days on the water. It has held up great. No issues except a bit of sun fade.
