  • My birthday wish was to ride our GS's to check out Lake Piru, to see how far the road goes in the mountains. So we fueled up in Camarillo and rode the twisty Grimes Canyon to the 126. Then we made the left onto Piru Canyon Road towards the State Park. The last 5 miles towards the Pothole Trailhead were stunning. Dave surprise serenaded for me and a bit later he pointed out my front tire was low. Since there was no cell phone reception we couldn't waste any time, and the rest of the story is in the video.
Unfortunately the video was cut a bit short, because we were more focused on getting the bikes home and start the birthday party with friends.
Hey, if you like this video, give us a thumbs up. Thanks for watching!
