The licht auf and laughter is excellent but where is the final shriek at the end of the 2nd scene.
Tempo is superb as it is not rushed.

What a pity. Such a good performance but takes those awful cuts at the end of the Klytommestra scene

Hello, David. With music of this caliber, any cut may be considered "awful". In this, we very much agree. The cuts, however, are by Strauss himself and most singers today, in live performance, are relieved when conductors implement the cuts. The commercial recordings available are all studio recordings which allow the singers the opportunity to rest between takes. Glad you enjoyed the performance, though.
