In 2017, people reported there was a bug with the battery percentage causing it to drop drastically to 1%, but it was able to be used for 3 hours. The first person I saw with this problem was Nalvare A.

Because Nintendo scripted the software to disable any background apps when the Nintendo switch reaches 1%
Because my switch oled does that also I remember 2017 when there was this bug when the Nintendo switch would drain from 100% to 1 in like 5 minutes but Nintendo fixed it.
