I learned this technique from Sandra many years ago on See Perfect and I use it all the time As a fellow sewing teacher, this is one of my student's favorite things to do. As a matter of fact ,I'm in the process of making a jacket and I'm finishing my seams with a Hong Kong finish Absolutely love it. Please make more of these videos Ron. Your stitching is so superb. So is your teaching .

I do too. THere aren't many channels of just good teaching. Some teachers make things so mystical, I get the feel they really don't want you to learn the technique.

Really nice to add to many of my sewing projects. Huh, I had no idea that the double stitching actually had a name or knew how it was done. All this time I believed it was just done with a double needle (I tried with a double needle a few years ago.. and it just didnt turn out nice.. and Wow!! I Love-love the adding of the braided piece on top of the stitching! Would def love to learn more of your ways of sewing ❤️
