Something i feel like people have never noticed or acknowledged is that star-liege seyfert, nebula dragon, and galactic spiral dragon were tackyon support. It probably wasn’t super apparent because that support wave didn’t give the deck a boss monster or any spell/traps. Just more light/dark dragon extenders

Soooo, Josh missed the most important thing about Tachyon Cloudragon. It's not a galaxy nor a photon card so the only way to search it reliably is with just the xyz...
It's like as if they printed Poplar but without snake eye in the name.
Or via Seyfert, which makes sense since that is a Mizar card as well.
If you send the new galaxy promo card with Seyfert you get to search cloud and summon the other one from the grave
Plus it doesn't search infinity... which is the only tachyon starter...

@@4yulming448You could just run the starliege cards to search it. Besides even if you don't draw it you can either go through the regular lines. I'm using accel lately in testing since you don't even really need your normal summon anymore. It's either I bait out their with basically anything or I go for the lv 8, accel, or galaxy soldier.
Its also a pointless search off Dragluxion because if you control Dragluxion, the only guy Cloudragon can summon from deck is also searchable by Dragluxion and can summon itself from hand if you control Dragluxion

that would be so hilarious, it would have to be a continuous spell so its searchable off munin, and tributes a monster in the EMZ to summon a different runick (hugin) and on a runick summon adds a quick play (to chainblock hugin).

Tachyon Primal's search effect being a hard OPT you can use twice per turn due to how your opp triggers it if it's on their field is so silly lmao. Hope the last card they've yet to reveal is another spell because as is Transmigration is the only really worthwhile search target, but still searching 2 over the course of your turn is hilarious.

I think you are confusing Photon Galaxy with Tachyon Galaxy. The deck split into 3 different ones so far being Photon Galaxy, Tachyon Galaxy, and Photon Tachyon Galaxy. Tachyon support is for Mizar from the anime who is the rival of Kaito from the same series who uses Photons not Tachyons. The decks play different overall. In Photon you can play Tachyon Primal and Dragluxion which make the deck so much stronger and make the deck's current 1 card combos much better. Also Tachyon just got it's cards, the only Tachyon cards before this were the XYZs and Traps. I do agree with the poplar 1 card combo segment of the video. I wish they did Mizar a bit more unique but hopefully now at least Mizar fans will be able to compete and have fun (:

bro its unique in fact the primal effect trigger your thrust/talent card and if you got 2 you can double search one with your opponent field and one with your field with the tachyon cloud dragon effect in the same turn and primal trigger your 107 dragon effect 2 time and you can one turn kill your opponent with just dragluxion active dragluxion add primal go 107 with dragluxion go battle phase active primal add the spell active 107 now you have 5000 atk and can attack twice use the trap from your hand shuffle all monster attack 8000 with 107 is much more better when you play horus package

Fun fact the tachyon actually can be used to trigger triple tactic so you can search the counter trap while also drawing 2, hand rip, or stealing a card. Any deck that can abuse rank 8s are going to be a nightmare. Also you can activate multiple copies of the trap in one turn which can return more than one card to the deck per activation.
I like to think of them all as the Salamangreat MEER of every archetype
I love that you can summon to the op field and since technically THEY use its effect "you" can use the search effect twice a turn.
if the combo is linear that's a plus for me cuz the deck already have as many lines as branded with different locks that you should take in consideration and having to remember which card can search which since you have galaxy and photon and galaxy eyes and cipher and now tachyon on top of that while also manipulating levels with gpd and summoner

The first effect of the quickspell its to use Tachyon effect. And if you had the Tachyon monster on opponent field, basically it triggers because it says so, then you use the quickplay spell and obliterate the opponent field, and you got Tachyon that attacks twice for 4k. And remember that this is just from 1 card

the basic idea behind the cards is a easy lethal combo involving resolving Tachyons effect then summoning it to their field, which lets you search the new Tachyon quick play that will pop all the cards with their effects negated (all monsters other than it), then you attack it which procs its attach effect. this procs Tachyons secondary effect, boosts it to 4000 and lets it attack twice for game
its not great, but its honestly an interesting going 2nd wincon for a deck that usually wants to go first
It boosts to 5k. 3k base+1k off search and another 1k off the attach
The schwartzchild dragon is also bishbaalkin support. That card got me into deck building

I mean you can kind of see where they were trying to go with this. Like people have said, it's make Tachyon Dragon, search the traps for protection, and Tachyon Primal is meant to be used during your battle phase after you trigger Tachyon Dragon's effect. Primal summon itself for another search which boosts Tachyon Dragon by 1k and gives it a 2nd attack. When you attack into it, it attaches itself and the activation boosts Tachyon Dragon by another 1k. It's not meant to be used in main stream Photon/Galaxy deck, this deck has it's own agenda.
Worth noting that only the lvl 8 starter effect locks you into XYZ but it's for the whole turn

As a hardcore galaxy-eyes photon/galaxy players I don’t understand what the plus side is of special summoning to the opponent’s field if you can do the same effects on your side. Can someone explain this further? I also currently don’t use any Tachyon extra deck atm since they seem to be useless
You can add 2 cards with ztachyon primal, because if you summon him on the opponents field he is the the one that is activating the trigger effect, so then if you summon primal on you field you can search again. For example you can search 2 tachyon transmigrations. It also helps the og number 107 tachyon dragon boost his attack because you can use primal in BP to special s on the opponents field to add and he will attach himself to the tachyon, making him 5 k with 2 attacks, there are other implications for primal too, its a really well designed card in my opinion. Hope that helps :)

This new support honestly reminds me of what we got in the RDA structure deck; A lot of really good cards that didn't mean much because they focused on an outdated boss monster.
RDA structure deck could have been really good if they didn’t restrict you so hard so early in the combo. Dark dragon synchro, d link uses its cards better then RDA does lol
*they focused on a new boss monster that flashes the outdated boss monster as a keycard like Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon does, then nukes the opponent and beats them to death with outdated boss monsters

I don't think Josh's comment toward the end will age well, there's some really disgusting stuff this deck can do with the one card rank 8. Infinity isn't just a one card rank 8, the monster it will fetch from deck will often be Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow which gives even further extensions if you search for Galaxy Hundred with Dragluxion.

To be fair in the anime tachyon was a completely different from photon/galaxy, its main gameplan was summon 2 lvl 8 generic dragons, overlay ASAP then protect the tachyon so the only card that doesn't make any sense is tachyon poplar, every other card makes sense in the idea of modernizing tachyon into a "make rank 8 ASAP and protec"
Basically what Galaxy-Eyes Xyzes became in real life, getting played in Blue-Eyes. 😂

I KNOW you didn't just forget the OG Watapon, the _real_ trendsetter.
I mean you probably don't know the rest of the tachyon / galaxy / photon cards, there's a bunch, so yeah they made cards that work well alone but at the end of the day it's "just" 2/3 more cards to a strategy that already exists. You have a billion cards in the archetype, you have so many options.
