You should get a “Wireless Meat Thermometer” it makes it a lot easier and faster because I’m not opening up the door all the time.
You gave the dogs my favorite part. Knowing on the bone is the best part.
Ot with dentures Boe!!🤣❤️👊
Since you’re here Kipp I thought I would ask you to recommend a good meat thermometer. Seems like mine isn’t accurate lately so I’m looking to replace it. ❤
Also, we cut the bones off before we cook it and set them aside for a different time and cook them low and slow and they are super tender and luscious. It’s so sweet they give them to their dogs though❤
Oh gosh I could smell that roast coming out of the oven. Droooooool
The before and After A to attract new viewers- shows how far you each have come!!! Wow!! GUYS!!!! Inspirational!!!!🎉
I like the B photo best ❤
Just picked one up from Sam’s - $9.96 lb
I love both of them but new people might like the before and after...😊
Made the standing rib roast tonight. OMG! 🤤 Very tender and juicy. Thanks!
Fantastic!
Kettle & fire is my favorite broth company
I would say “A” to get new viewers. People love before/after results
Thatdudecancook has a rosemary salt recipe. Cover the roast with that. Put it in the oven at 500 degrees for 20 minutes. Then drop to 300 degrees until 120 degrees. Let rest until 130. Much better.
Voting for B
Your dogs have wonderful manners. 👏👏👏
They are sweet pups❤️
Looking Skinny Bossman! But You're looking Good! Thumbnail A is my unbiased choice!
B. Can't spell "believe" without it. 🙂✌
I choose B. Why don’t you get one of those Bluetooth cooking thermometers for your rib roast? I swear by this new kitchen gadget and can’t imagine making my ribeye without it!
We had a Meater by it stopped working. 🤣
I love the B photo.thanks for the tips cooking the roast.
I got a 6 pound tenderloin yesterday fir $30!! And I didn't have to go to Aldi's, cuz I can't stand that store. Enjoy your Prime Rib. So delicious.
Thanks meatdog!!❤️👊
Yum Yummy yum Larry. Thanks for the cooking tips ❤🇨🇦
My wrist hurt watching Larry pick up that cast iron with that huge hunk of meat in it one handed 😂😂😂 I will know my baby muscles are working when I can easily pick up my cast iron 😅
I know right! I need 2 hands ✌️. Even if I gain some upper body strength I'll probably use both hands, those pans are heavy
Lucky you! Albertsons and Fred Meyer here in Oregon only allowed ONE roast per person! $47.57 instead of $153.02!!
Albertsons weren't roasts, just thick steaks.
Photo A, good before and after pics.
I vote for B! I drink instant coffee all my life. I’m glad to see someone else drinking it. I feel like I’m the only one. lol! That roast looks amazing! I’ll have to visit my Publix more. It’s a new store for me (I’m originally from NJ)
Thanks for the tip on cooking the roast. My choice would be A. I like the before and after so people can see that it works.
B is my choice. I love lamb! I hit a sale here in Canada for New Zealand leg of Lamb $4.99 a pound. Got myself 2 - 5 pounds legs...Yummmm lol. Cooking one up tomorrow (Saturday). Thanks for your recipe for cooking a rib roast, will try it sometime for sure. Stay strong, love you guys! ❤
Thanks June!!❤️
Made this tonight and it was fsbulous! Came out perfect. Hubby said it was better than any restaurant weve been to! Thanks!
Fantastic!
B is a super choice. Albertson's also had a decent sale on prime rib. 7.99, but a digital coupon $2.00 off made it a bit better.
That's a great deal Fronnie!👊
The roast looks delicious! I have been chicken to cook one , I will definitely do one now!
I like B
If you like it more rare or well done just adjust the cook times. Perfection👍
If trying to attract newbies I'd go for A
I'm making this now using your tips. My roast is 12 lbs and I got it for 6.99 a pound in December at Publix. I can't wait to taste it.
Enjoy Deborah!!❤️🥰
I like choice B
A. Love the before and after!
😁
My Aldi has grass fed ribeye for $11.38/lb. I get them all the time. They come in a two pack.
Mmmmm😁
Cassie! You’re looking so skinny!! YOU GO, girl!!!
Thank you Lisa❤️❤️
Just tried this!!!! Awesome!!!! Thanks Larry!!!!
I like B ❤ thank you for the great tips. You both look amazing.
Voting for B. Thank you for the video. Boy, that sure looks good. Looking forward to seeing the next two videos. Love You Guys. 🥰
Looks so delicious!! Thumbnail choice is B!! ❤
Thanks Larry I was one who was afraid to buy one of those roast and cook it on a pension every pennies counts no leeway for screw ups lol I'm going to give your method a try also I vote for B you guys are doing great.
I basically live off of ground beef because it's cheap and tastes good. I don't buy ribeyes and rib roasts because they're way too expensive.
B.. you both look great!🙂
Great!!! Take care.
Thank you Larry! I needed this video!! Yours looks so good!! 😊
You are so welcome Susan!
Keeping all the rib bones and chicken boat in the freezer and then put in slow cooker with water and a slash of apple cider vinegar, cook for 2 to 3 day. Put in glass containers and freeze. It's jelly when you defrost. Yummmmm
The company "Meater" should sponsor y'all.
Do you remember back in December, the prime rib roast at Publix was $6.99lb. Now, They're $9.99lb.
Yes!!! Pricing really jumped up within the last few months. Maybe they took a loss with all of the carnivores buying it all up??? Maybe! A meater sponsor would be cool! Thanks for the idea! Maybe I'll reach out to them👍
I’m voting for A ❤🎉
Thanks because thats what I am cooking tomorow I have 2 rib roast
NYC Acme has it on sale for half price at $7.99. But as an Acme member, I got it for $4.99 per pound 😮. Bought 3!
I like B
A because it shows your progress. Gives a good way of encouragement
Definitely thumbnail B!
Irony. The next feature in my UA-cam feed is Is this the end of meat featuring Bill Gates. I didn't watch it. So your video cheered me up
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your tribe. I'm voting for thumbnail B.
Major league yummy! 😋 I think Thumbnail B is the one to use.
Thanks Cheer!!
I went and got 2 rib roasts at publix the other day. Hubby cut them up as steaks but I have never cooked a whole roast. Going to get another small one tomorrow and cook the whole thing for Easter. Thanks for the how to for dummies video! I vote pic B. It is such a great pic of you both!
Photo B! Anyway thanks I always overcook my roast, I’m drooling over yours! Also could you do a video on how to cook the corned beef, I’d love to try my own.
Absolutely Shannon!! I'll tell Cass we gotta do one👍
For attracting new viewers I would choose thumbnail A.
Just happened to buy one yesterday: gonna cook it up today using your method! Thanks!!
Did it!!! It was freaking awesome!! It was a 3 1/2 pound Rib Roast and I must’ve ate more than half….couldn’t stop! Thanks again!
I like "B". For Christmas I made a prime rib using your method and still have family commenting that it's the best meat they've ever eaten! Another question: there are days I feel off, with no energy and what almost feels like a little anxiety. Yesterday I pushed through my run and then had LMNT and also some Redmond's real salt. It wasn't long after and I felt fine. I don't think I've been eating enough therefore very low on electrolytes. Has anyone else experienced this?
A shows your amazing results , but B is my favorite for some reason. It's a win win. You can't go wrong! Love the video !
I can't wait for the results. And the thumbnail, I vote for B.
Making this tonight!!!!!
Wow. Learned to cook one last year, and it is easy.
It sure is!
Thanks I am tired of the crock pot!!
Looks delicious
B ❤ yall look fantastic!
Thank you!!
B you are such a cute cupple
Winn Dixie has Prime Rib for $6.99 lb. With $20 additional purchase. Great deal adj
Key butcher to cut into 5 rib steaks=$37.00
You and Cassie really look great! Thanks for the inspiration.
Voting for A. Thank you for this video. I was afraid to buy one, but getting one tomorrow now that you've shown I can handle it. They are on sale for 7.98lb this weekend at my local grocer in Oklahoma 🎉
❤
Hi guys love that video. 😮
Thank you for the simple cooking method, we just bought a rib roast for 5.97 a pound at our local store here at Fred Meyers. Sad part was you could only get one. Can't wait to try your method.😊
💗💗💗
Excellent! 👍😛
Have to go with the transformation pic very telling. You two have done great and A shows just how much 👍👍😊
If anyone has a Kroger in their area, they are having rib roast on sale this week. If you sign up for their digital coupons, you can get the roast for $6.97 a pound/Limit 2 roasts. Unlike Publix, you will have to trim out the rib bone. I normally cut them into steaks. For the roast, I make mine in the crock pot. I like mine well done, so take that into account. I remove the rib & save that for another day. I take a stick of soften butter & spread it all over the roast. I use salt, pepper, rosemary, onion powder & thyme all over. I pour 1/2 cup of beef broth into the crock pot, put in the roast & set it to LOW. Next morning, I turn it to WARM until we eat it at lunch. Juicy & yummy.
I like image B for the thumbnail.
Thanks for the awesome comment Polaris!!!❤️👊
YUM!!! mine in oven now! (first one😮)
thanks for recipe!🙌🙌🙌
Let me know how it comes out!!❤️👊
@@CarnivoreQuest wonderful! a little closer to rare than med rare, but tender & so good! your method is the best i've seen & THANK YOU SO MUCH! you & cassie are the BEST!🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌🥩
Very good!! So glad you're enjoying it Paulette!👍
B....you earned it
Very much enjoy the simple way you broke it down. Question: on larger roasts do you check at each end and the middle? I think the middle or thickest part is where you wanna hit the 120 degree temp correct? Thank you for all you do!
You check the very center of the roast, even on a big roast.
I vote A, but either is great.
Definitely B
B is my vote
I choose B
VOTE B
Thanks for the roast recipe!
Awesome video thumbs up. Where did you buy the Rib Roast for .99 a pound? Also, How often to you have to fast? Do you have to fast to loose weight on this diet?
I like to se before and after, so A for me.
Larry what kind of meat thermometer do you use? I feel like mine isn’t accurate and I’m looking for a good one.
Voting B
I vote B ❤
I love cast iron as well. B. Butchers Bone Broth has carrots and made me a little sick from the Oxalates.
It turned out great Karen!👍
@@CarnivoreQuest Wonderful I can’t wait to try it. I just cooked a whole brisket in the oven at 250 degrees following a recipe it turned out great, living with my granddaughter she was not happy about it. The wonderful man she married I spoke with him about the recipe, he wants to buy a smoker. 🤣
@@CarnivoreQuest The butter finish on broil looks amazing, wow.
Lodge makes a cast iron roasting pan. I've been thinking about getting one. I got prime rib on sale today and I'm going to try out your method. I'm just wondering how to make an au jus.
When we want some we use McCormicks. But only on special occasions.
I'd wager if you reduced some beef bone broth it would work pretty well? I'm making a Costco run tomorrow. I saw ox tail there last time. Going to check out the beef ribs, too. I appreciate all your videos, but especially the recipes.@@CarnivoreQuest
I bought the prime roast this month I always have the butcher cut them into steaks for me because it's just me and a whole roast like that will take me forever to eat. However what do I do with the rack of ribs that I get at the end I have been saving them I don't know if there's enough meat on them to make a meal or should I just save them and make a broth with them I don't have dogs to give them to😂
Eat them! They are meaty and fatty👍
I vote for B
I vote B 😊
I like the one with only two, the other is too confusing...
I'm really surprised that you didn't make some bone broth out of those bones before you gave them to the dogs to chew on.
Cass iron ❤
$7.99 per pound at Harris Teeter here right now.
Yummmm, B
My Vote: B
