    Who actually thought "Hey let's make a device that prints images and text using static electricity or millions of droplets"

    I knew these things were complicated and I can only appreciate them even more after seeing how they work. What an astounding application of physics!

    Are you from the Netherlands? because I am, and when the clip started I saw the dutch text, and thought that youtube updated their translating algorithm that translated what I heard, but you put it in the clip. XD

    This was a nice video but it didn't explain how the laser printers recognize each color to print in colors. Since you explained that the negative force attracts the positive force and the image is formed, how does the laser printer knows exactly when and where to apply each color to form all colors possible? Thank you!

      There's no special trick to it. Color laser printers just have four of these units, one for each color (CMYK) and the page takes turns at each one.

    How does the paper not catch on fire if it is being heated up to 200 degrees celsius???

    • @brandoncammon7971
      @brandoncammon7971 6 років тому

      that's why regular paper can't be used because printer paper is thicker and has heat resistant fibers
