Can the Diablo series of video games be used to explore the history of fears about racial degeneration?
This video uses Diablo to discuss the fascinating history of British fears of racial degeneration following the South African War, which led to the formation of the Scouting Movement as well as universal health care.
This is part of a new video series called History Through Games that uses video games as windows into themes, debates, and concepts discussed by historians.
