This was such a great segment! They had meaningful conversations and enjoyed the food, of course. As much as I believe in Eli’s strong mindset, I’d have to agree with Seowon and Yoona. It’s best to avoid reading hate comments (or a lot of comments in general?) While I know Eli can easily brush the negativity off, the effects of those comments can linger and accumulate in the long run. Worst case scenario, it might hinder one’s potential. In a way, I understand though why Eli does that. She’s in a foreign country away from her home and family which is tough in itself. I think that by reading comments, she can gauge or determine if she did a good job or if her actions as well as efforts are well-received. It’s also a way of interacting with fans, as I’ve often seen her liking comments of fans on TikTok. Adding to that, she’s also kind and appreciative. Eli is definitely mentally strong. She wouldn’t be where she is right now if she didn’t fight tooth and nail for her spot. I’ll always be rooting for you, Eli! Fighting!🫶💪 (P.S. Eli mentioned in another vid that she worries about her skills not improving😭 Adding this to her habit of reading comments, I just worry about her mental well-being but I know she will prevail.
