Honestly, I’d consider getting a 4 foot tube light. To me they’re the most versatile. They’re RGB, east to travel with, and you can mount them on a c stand easily for overhead lighting.
Yoo this was sick dude! Made me wanna just go buy more lights, specifically apertures. but very well done and explained and inspo to use smaller spaces to the highest capacity possible
Thanks Max! I couldn’t recommend Aputure more! The best part is being able to control all the lights from your phone with the app. Thank you for the comment!
Hey mate, you are really talented! Thanks so much for this video, it helps a ton and I love how simply your describe everything, you fit more valuable details into this 5 min video then many other UA-camrs fit into 30 minutes haha Wood have been great if you described your post editing a little bit and what adjustments were required to get the colour and stuff, maybe a future video? Cheers!
Thanks for watching! For that circle, I used the LS60X with the spotlight mount. That shot was from my photo test where I used Lightroom to turn the circle red from a light orange.
Thanks man, great walk through the process and you two achieved so much with little gear (well, compared to big budget music videos) and loads of creativity. She's natural, you were right there with her. Congrats!

What's the first light one should buy? What's the most versatile light can a beginner get in your opinion? (For vibey music videos like yours)

Thank you! I used PP8 and my white balance was 5600k for the most part. But different scenes require different settings of course.
