As a college dropout, our community hates college and we are told it’s a scam. I dropped out and realized life would be way harder without a degree so my ass went back. Nothing is wrong with getting a degree
College is a waste of time if you’re going there to be a social justice warrior. You’re better off going to trade school and learning how to actually do something.
Most people waste time in college and then badmouth that experience without admitting that they partied, didn’t do homework, failed tests, got mad at professors and focused on non-educational things. 💁🏾♂️
I was in the military and I’ve literally seen it change peoples lives. It’s not for everyone but it offers benefits and mentorship. I’ve seen people who grew up without fathers and they encountered a mentor in the military that literally changed their life. Even now after my career I’m still reaping benefits and a check every month.
College was worth it to me. Cmgraduated with a degree in Management Information Systems, was making over 6 figures by 25, brought my first investment property at 28, and built a real estate portfolio leveraging my corporate job. When I had a patch of bad investments I picked up a second remote job paying over 6 figures n rebuilt my liquid capital. The network, discipline and safety net of my degree was worth the cost of tuition.
Agreed. College wasn’t a waste of my time. Paid off my student loans and debt free except mortgage. 7yrs into my post graduation career, making close to $200k/yr. Living off of one paycheck, investing the other.
Ex Navy guy here, he's right the military gave me discipline, showed me how to conduct as a soldier and turned me into a leader amongst my peers. I came back home in 2014 It gave me a different perspective.
My College degree didnt make me 100k a year, I've never used my degree once for a job. The people i met in college lead me to be able to make 100k a year. It's definitely what he said. you use college to network, if you're not the lucky ones to make it in their field of choice. Helped me in life and changed my prospective on being at home doing what everyone else was doing. Working hard everyday
I'm back in college at 33 and it's been a very rewarding and challenging experience. He is right, critical thinking, meaning question EVERYTHING is one of the biggest skills you will take away. I must admit, I wasn't ready after high-school. Fast forward, I thought I was too old to return until I got in class. I have 40, 50 & 60 year old classmates. It's never too late.
This is real deal advice I joined the navy straight from high school and honestly I’m out now but my life been smooth and structured because of it fr 🙏🏾 definitely a step ahead now
All facts, I am a veteran my self at 26 and everything he is saying is right because I love the benefits I am reaping from going to the military. I hated while in lol but defiantly played the game right and reap the benefits now. Salute
As A 13 Year Army Veteran I Can Honestly Say It Was The Best Decision I’ve Ever Made. Earned A Living, Traveled The World, Earned Degrees, Training In A Variety Of Areas, Top Health Benefits For My Kids & I, Paid Education For Kids, & A Check For Rest Of My Life. But Most Importantly I Enabled Myself To Grow & Develop From The “Hood” Or “Street” Mentality & Circumstances.
Bro. CW is always on point! I was a dumbass all the way up to 24 years old. I joined the army as an infantryman and they sent me to Afghanistan and Iraq two times each. The military changed my life. It teaches so many core values to live by that it trains your brain to become a better person. I wish my three babies would joint the military. I tell my kids the Air Force is the way to go. Treat you better, feed, you better, and the get better living quarters. The Air Force is the branch that will teach some to become a subject matter expert in their field (MOS). CW stats giving that good advice to the youth. Love it!

College does NOT promote critical thinking, it actually does the opposite. If your not going to college for STEM then your wasting your time.
Blood hard💯
Very well said
