Have you ever heard of Armor Building? Two cleans, 1 OHP and 3 front squats. I do sets supersetted with a similar clubbell medley. I call it Mail Building 💪🗡🛡
Man, I remember when I did the kettlebell strong program for the first time. I loved how sneaky it is at giving you size and strength. I'm using it with one of my students right now before he goes into the military.
My third Geoff program is the Giant and my fave so far. Just look forward to every session and feeling great as I enter week 10 . I started the program with a small dose of elbow tendonitis that has in fact got better over the course of the program. Go figure and thanks Geoff.
Nice, Brutha. I njoy ur work. Been lifting weights since Junior High and got into powerlifting a little later on in my life. Never really went for major gainz.. I just went for looking strong, feeling strong and feeling healthy. I wasn't chasing numbers, I mean my max bench was 345. Now I'm n the half century mark and my body has been breakin down little by little. So, I've been looking for a way to be more efficient with my training and have a functional life without feeling all bulked up, broken and blotted. In my search I fell into Kettlebells and it's been nothing but amazing. I'm starting to get that lean muscle look I've been wanting my entire life. Not to mention I feel better than I've ever felt.... from my cardiovascular circulatory system to my joints. I'm also having tons of fun, because of the different exotic intermediate to advance movements that come with using the Kettlebells. I appreciate you, man. Your UA-cam channel is GOLD. 💯👍🏿
@shaolinzendragon4737 - Appreciate you. saying so! Great to hear your story and your success with KBs. They are game changers for so many and I'm glad you're now on the list. I think they are the Fountain of Youth for those of us our age.
The Giant is definitely one of your most popular programs. I've seen it being talked about everywhere I find people talking about "Geoff Neupert + Kettlebells". I plan to start the "Dry Fighting Weight" program first, though. Hopefully I can build up my rep max to 10 on that one before trying out The Giant.
I'm a natural bodybuilder who is looking to get into kettlebell training this year and I'd like to suggest that "bloated bodybuilder muscle" is more just dudes on steroids or dudes who are over-bulked. I don't think that most bodybuilders who are natural and who have a decent body fat can really be thought of as bloated. But what brings me to kettlebell training is that bodybuilding is quite a reductionistic approach to the boady and in that it can be pretty easy to neglect training the body in ways that allow you to just live life better. I know from previous KB training that the real "what the hell effect" is how much better you move through day to day life that bodybuilding doesn't really replicate. I also realise now that 80% of body-building is simply being lean rather than being big. So you can look great doing almost any kind of training even if you aren't maximising muscle growth because nutrition always applies no matter how you do your resistance training. So all of this makes me want to give the kettlebell a real try, because it's fun and interesting and it will allow me to train the body in a wholistic way. Really excited to see what more I can learn.
@dangernoodle2868 - Thanks for your comment. That look is also a function of different types of hypertrophy - sarcoplasmic vs. myofibrillar, which is a result of the reps and load used.
Which program would you recommend to achieve all of your 'strong enough' standards at once ? Or only one of them should be targeted first ? For example clean & press ?
Beginning of the year I did a run of Giant X with 2x20. But not much of C&P after that. Atm 2x20 is my 11rm. I also have 2x24, a 5rm. Should I run Strong with 2x24 and maybe Giant after that with 2x24? Or milk a bit out of the 2x20 with a run of the Giant first (maybe my 2x24 won't be a 5rm anymore afterwards).
If I’m mainly wanting the fat loss side of recompostion training would I be better running the Giant or Maximorum? I’ve run Giant before and just got Maximorum.
Yup, double Clean and Press is the most fun of all kettlebell exercises :)
I love that too, Brutha.
Another one of my favorites is the Gorilla Clean. That is ""Balls"" of FUN.. Big Giant Gorillas Balls. 💪🏿😳

@7woundsfist - Awesome to hear. Please let us know how it works for your student.
Blocks of Giant and King Size killer is very effective training for Strength Endurance Power Endurance and yes, also size.
@andreasjenkins4725 - 100%. I appreciate your feedback. Keep up the great work.
I love combining kettlebell training with clubbell training

I finished Maximorum Week 4 this evening. I'm getting bigger, aged 55. It annoys my wife because my work shirts get tight. It works.
@ajw9533 - I wish I could say "I'm sorry." 🤣
But "Congrats" instead!
Appreciate you sharing your results with us.

@davidchung3923 - When using DFW, focus on your technique, resist the urge to turn it into MetCon, and that 10RM will show up quickly!

The Giant has turned me into the mat bully during BJJ classes. Good lord does that program work when followed to a T
@swoosh2835 - LOVE IT!
Week 2 into KB MAXIMORUM. I really like the method. Very adapted to my lifestyle (to most lifestyles I guess).
@alexfage123 - Outstanding to hear!
Which program would you recommend to achieve all of your 'strong enough' standards at once ? Or only one of them should be targeted first ? For example clean & press ?
@delpierro213 - Great question. I recommend "Kettlebell MAXIMORUM" for those who want to focus training those standards all at once.

@DimitriVerjans - Run "Strong!" and then come back to 'THE GIANT.' Let us know how it goes.
Hi
When starting off the giant should you use a lighter weighted kb until you get your form right???
@willywonka51 - Yes, a "manageable" weight. Too light, and you don't get the feedback you need.
If I’m mainly wanting the fat loss side of recompostion training would I be better running the Giant or Maximorum? I’ve run Giant before and just got Maximorum.
If the 40kg is the "Bulldog", and the 48 is the "Beast", what is the 44?
Godzilla 🤣🤣🤣 idk
It's called the Dragon Testicle.
Pitbull
@jasonwelsh417 - Ignored. 😉
