So glad this has a grommet mount. Just replaced my grandpa's broken 27" iMac with an M1 MacBook Air and I need a monitor for his desk. Only issue being his desk has walls and nowhere to clamp the stand, at least now I know I can just drill a hole in his desk if he wanted this incredible stand

Very good monitor! The only problem, in our unit, is a slow USB connection. We are getting 400 Mbps out of a Gigabit usb dongle which really works Gigabit when plugged directly to the laptop.

very cool video. I have MacBook Pro 2018 "13" -I7 2.7 GHz with 16 GB RAM, this MBP is suitable for 4k 32 inch monitor.THX :)
How do you connect the monitor to the arm? Out of the box there is no way for the monitor to attach securely. The holes for the vesa screws on the back of the monitor don't line up with the holes on the vesa bracket.

UltraFine for color accuracy, UltraGear for gaming. If you're asking for those kind of specs then you're clearly not among the desired audience for this series.

@@dny4469 The only reason I personally don't prefer gaming monitors is because of their gaudy overdone looks. Also there is no reason why these ultrafine displays can't support 4k 120 Hz with HDMI 2.1, gsync/vsync support along with color accurate reproduction. 3D game/movie artists and developers will prefer it over the ugly looking gaming monitors.

Is the included cable a thunderbolt 3? will it charge the 13" macbook?
It's USB-C but will charge your Mac (though at 60w instead of 87, so just a bit slower.
When I do this through USB - I can't get any of the advanced color options like HDR effect and DCI-P#. Is that the same for anyone else?

It doesn’t extend enough. 18cm is a joke. Need at least 40 cm. Some of us have big desks.

the arm is shittyyyy and the screen not worth the extra $ just because of that stand -you should buy better screen and get 3rd party arm mount for less $$
Unfortunately *PD 60W = dealbreaker* for every MacBook Pro owner.
Sorry all, but this is a horribly designed monitor. Unless I have a proper desk or am willing to drill a hole in a table top counter, this monitor is useless. Think about that. Not everyone has this setup! I don't have a desk, but have two perfect 32" Dells on a ledge by my window. I couldn't even buy this monitor if I wanted to.
