That’s is a great goal! I am debating Fiji or Melbourne for next year. Kids are saying Fiji lol
Yay I liked hearing your perspective thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks for being here 🧡❤️💙
Once I got my adhd diagnosis, EVERYTHING about me makes sense. I hear you about being overwhelmed by something and then just not doing it. I have two of my sons who are autistic / adhd and I’m constantly in contact with the school advocating for them.
I feel ya. It’s tiring and tough, but I’ll keep doing it as long as I need to.
Exactly my thoughts. It all makes sense. We find strength and do what we need to do. I just hate seeing kids struggle it kills me :(
another great one!
Thanks 💜💙❤️
Bucket list item, to learn to drive a manual car 🙃 The more videos from you the better! 💛
Great so should be 4 uploads a week :) Sat, Monday, Wed and Friday :) good bucket list. I actually have that in mine too! Long story short
Love watching ❤🤗❤🤗
We're thinking of going skydiving! I ironically love heights/rollercoasters.... but hate planes. So we'll see how this goes once we save for it! 😂
That’s amazing, I don’t think I could do skydiving, bit to scary for me. I do want ro go abseiling I’m a cave in New Zealand though it’s one of the ones on my list
Here watching 😊
Thanks for your support
Hey Sian, that happy mail is so cute💝.
I am 44 and started on ADHD medication only this year and I can tell you that I personally feel like I only have 2 tabs open, instead of the 100 tabs open that I always have. My mind is able to focus and concentrate a hell of a lot better than ever before in my life. All of these benefits from being on medication and I now don't want to be without it. My psychiatrist monitors my weight and blood pressure because there is a risk of losing weight on the medication I am on and if I lose more than 1kg / week, my psychiatrist will stop my medication. The medication I am on does suppress my appetite and gives me a dry mouth, but other than that, I don't experience any other side effects.
Before you start on a medication, your psychiatrist will discuss all the positives and negatives with you regarding the meds and if you want to try it, that will totally be your decision.
Take care and keep on budgeting 💖
Thanks for sharing this, so glad it is helping you and that sounds like an okay side effect! And monitoring and health care people supporting is def the way to go. May I ask what medication you are on?
I work in the education system 🇨🇦 and i would say having a supply educator is the worst day for everyone involved students and staff. It is really hard and causes stress on everyone’s day, i wish there was a way to clone staff or only have super amazing supply educators that are on it and understanding! Enjoyed the chat today, thanks for being open and sharing 💚💚
I know wish teachers could be cloned!! I didn’t realise for staff as well the stress. Xx
❤
❤️🧡💙💜
Happy August 1st Sian😊 you got happy 📬
More happy mail and new binders coming soon as well!
I have ADHD diagnosed and went on vyvance for about a yr I found it did help my racing thoughts and overwhelm but you still had to keep onto your ADHD management and not full rely on it. It made me loose alot of weight because of what drug it is and it did affect my personality alot I lost alot of my personality and creative side from being on it. It did help with focus but I became very quiet and different to who I am I don't regret it as I took it for a year and it gave me time to work through my ADHD and understanding myself and what works for me however I didn't like loosing myself .
Also to be real Aswell your body can get used to the dose so you can continue to need to go higher and also I unfortunately put back on the weight which sucks 😞 && I had a bit of racing heart from vyvance personally and coming off it was tough but I got through it
That was my personal experience though
Perhaps you could try Ritalin or Ritalin LA as had less side effects just believe than the Vyvance. It’s tough, I think I will go to psychologist and perhaps learn some coping techniques. I don’t want to lose any part of my personality. Start with that I think.
That’s true, and then it’s never ending. Tough.
I think that’s really common for spicy brains, to cope really well until too much life steps in: kids, home, job. I think that’s why women in particular aren’t diagnosed until later in life and then misdiagnosed with mental health conditions. The overwhelm becomes burnout and is interpreted as stress/depression. A friend of mine has just started medication at 40 and she is coping so much better. Like anything though, figuring out the right meds and the right dose is a bit of a pain!
Yes I can imagine, and had been hard finding right for son and always hesitant to switch and effect his body :( it’s constant weighing benefits but he needs to be on something otherwise to difficult for him completely! I didn’t come
To the decision lightly to medicate him. Funny I can get so overwhelmed but in a serious or really high stress situation I am completely calm and can make fast decisions quickly!
@@Sianbudgets It’s always a personal decision re: medication but when it works, it really works so why not try, is how I think about it 💛 And I’m the same in high stress situations, clear minded, quick decisions, it’s great! Yet 99.9% of the time it’s the usual noise, task paralysis and decision fatigue. But, despite the struggles, I wouldn’t change having a spicy brain for anything. I wouldn’t be me without it 😊
@budgetsdreams exactly and well said I agree 💯
oh Yay! Glad you love your goodies!
Medication - I have never tried it, a friend of mine started recently and he said it's just like his normal brain is a TV on a the old static channel and when he takes his medication it just stops. I am very tempted to try it. Maybe we can chat in DMs but I worry about medication because I am dual diagnosis
Also the kids stuff.... ugh it's so hard, school is a sucky place for neurodivergent kids a lot of the time :( So I'm sorry that we relate to each other in that way... but also solidarity is nice
💙
Solidarity is nice and thanks for the chat. Xxxx so excited about my happy mail :)
It's the Nokia3310 for me ❤❤ 15:01
Haha yeah yep remember that well!!! Had to put the phone in a certain window of Josie to get my SMSed haha
@@Sianbudgets 💕
Nokia 3310 and nokia 95 were my 2 favourite phones ever.... i told my duaghter id never buy her an i phone... we are a samsung house now. Greya is awesome. 😊😊
I didn’t even think, is Samsung better for kids/teenagers than iPhone access wise? Loved those phones. I also remember the Motorola flip phone haha remember feeling so cool with the flip phone haha!
