- As I was preparing my trip, the Question arose how to get from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1. It quickly became clear that there was a Skytrain and it read as if it were very easy. When you are there, it becomes clear that you have to be very careful where you go. So that you can prepare yourself a little better for your trip, I make this video available.

Hello! Your video is really helpful to me. My internal flight will arrive at T2 at 8:30 pm and my international flight leaves at 10 pm from T1. I need to get back my baggage, go from T2 to T1, and check my baggage again. I only have 1.5 hour … hope it will be enough & that my baggage will be deliver quickly at T2..

Well, if everything goes normally with picking up your luggage, changing to the terminal and checking it in again, you can do it within 30 minutes.

so i have to transfer mexico city
1. When I transfer at Terminal 2, do I need to go through immigration procedures separately?
2. Do I have to find the luggage I left when I check-in and send it again? for transfer !

1. The Transfer between the Terminals is landside and you need to go trough the immigration.
2. you need to pick up the luggage at the baggage claim and then you can go to the skytrain.

dovendo proseguire per Durango vorrei sapere l'immigrazione si fa in questo aeroporto o a Durango ? e un ultima cosa ...arrivando dall' Europa al terminal 2 vedo che è sempre dal T2 la partenza per Durango....chiedo se è molto il percorso da fare al Gate. grazie

I have planning to go to guatemala in June, I have schenghen visa multiple entry , I have connecting flight aeromexico from Mexico,I have 12 hrs to next flight, so my question is . Need to complete the immigration process? And can I go to outside of Mexico?
Hi ✈️ when you change the terminal you need to go trough the immigration and you can go to Mexico City

Hello, well you can only change the Terminal landslide. You have to pass the Security. You only have to go through border control when you leave the Schengen area.
do you have police at the exit,after arriving and taking my languages ?

Well, if there are no queues in front of the check-in counters, you'll be through in 40 minutes at the latest. if you have to queue somewhere longer then it will take longer.

I have a question...i'm arriving mexico via air france in terminal 1 and need to check out my luggage then go to terminal 2 and check in my luggage again and catch my aeromexico flight to canada...my layover time is 4.5 hrs
1. Is this time enough?
2. Do I need transit visa if I change terminal?
1. well 4.5hrs is enough. So far I have always needed a maximum of 1.5 hours from the gate to the next check-in
2. That depends in which country you live. For example, as a German, I only need an entry card that has to be filled out.

this was a terrible video. it doesnt explain things very well. at one moment it says you cant use the Skytrain unless you have a ticket and the next moment it says wait here for the Skytrain. I travel a lot and watch many videos of this type. you left out so many details saying go left, go right without mentioning what signs to look for.
Thanks for your comment. But I think you misunderstood something. 1. you will be checked to see if you have a plane ticket. 2. Of course you have to wait until the Skytrain comes, because that's normal with trains. This video shows you the way as the title describes.
