I like the HO/OO scale layout that you made. It looks spectacular. From the Thomas & Friends Bachmann HO line, I currently have Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Duck, Diesel, Salty, Emily, Annie, Clarabel, Henrietta, Emily's Coaches, Red Coaches (coaches similar to Annie & Clarabel), Gordon's Express Coaches, Troublesome Trucks (1, 2, 3 & 4), S.C. Ruffey, Blue Open Wagon, Red Open Wagon, Cargo Car (aka Brown Open Wagon), Coal Wagon with Load (aka Green Open Wagon with Coal Load), 6 Ton Wagon, Sodor Fuel Tank, Oil Tank (original version with the word "OIL" on the sides of the Oil Tank), Tidmouth Milk Tank, Raspberry Syrup Tanker, two Salt Wagons (one I got individually, and one I got in the Salty's Dockside Delivery set), Cattle Wagon, Ventilated Van, Ice Cream Wagon, Red Mail Car (CGI version with winged envelopes on the sides of the Red Mail Car), Grey Brake Van, Bertie, Terence, Harold, Cranky, Sir Topham Hatt, Two Conductors (one normal Conductor I got individually, and one custom Conductor with orange hair and mustache I got in the Salty's Dockside Delivery set), Farmer McColl, and Sodor Junction Station (includes repainted Bachmann HO Plasticville Freight Station & Platform Station Buildings). From the Thomas & Friends Hornby OO line, I currently have Sodor Scrap Co. Wagon, Brown Open Wagon (Season 1 Style Troublesome Truck) and Brown Brake Van.
I love the trees you added. It makes it feel like the countryside, and I always love the countryside!
Build the valley route, it'd be very cool, and I've love to see more of the non-Thomas trains too.

This is a great layout.
A freight depot would fit perfectly over where cranky is. you can just move him back to that little corner in the layout. I need to get my train room cleaned up and organized so that I can resume work on my own layout.

After watching this, I looked on the wikia to see the Bachman scenery or other porducts that you can add to your layout. Here are my suggestions. Keep in mind that you don't have to agree with me and that I'm just trying to help.
Sodor Lighthouse: Maybe, if you put Cranky near that siding back in the corner, you can place it on the curve near Cranky.
Maithwaite Station: It would probably by best on that straight where Cranky is.
Round Water Tower: You could put it next to Maithwaite Station. In my opinion, every railway with steamies needs water towers.
Black Loch Folly: You can stick it with the trees that you added to the other curve.
Engine Shed: The siding where Cranky is currently would be a perfect place for a shed. You could put over on the other siding back there on the left.
Signal Box: You can just put it near any sort of switch on the layout.
Square Water Tower: That hasn't come out yet, but when it does, I suggest to put it near Tidmouth Sheds. Usually those towers are used for washdowns, so it makes sense to put it near the sheds.
Jeremy the Jet Plane: I don't know what you'd do with him, but I know you don't have him.
I hope you like my ideas and I hope that they are helpful and beneficial.
If you could get another table and more Bachmann Narrow Gauge stuff, you could make connections between the two tables, possibly by bridges, those buffers at the end of the table you can get to the other side of the layout from look like they could be the start of the bridges, and then on the other side you have an area where Standard Gauge HO scale track and Narrow Gauge N scale track are side by side, and then you'd have a transfer yard, even more, if you have it so the standard gauge area takes up only a small portion of this second table, you could have all this space for the narrow gauge engines once destinations like the narrow gauge shed come out
The scene with Murdoch looks cool when i first saw your image of him on instagram and i said all he needs is a freight train and some sheep i hope that you build that big layout it looks cool in the pictures and i like the new coach
Here are just a few ideas, if you have room on the side try to put the narrow gauge track somewhere closer, trees and grass too on there. Also get a nice road somewhere for berty and the other cars. And maybe a few other minor details.
Also as I said many time you should try to get a Bachmann reneus for narrow gauge. And my idea above.

You should add a signal box, either the normal or the Thomas one.weather down and paint some rust onto onto a model and place it somewhere in the grass so it looks like scrap, add like some small quarry scene next to cranky and add some more trees and bushes. Thanks

Hey Train Tsar Fun, I like the idea of the tunnel and when some engine derails in the tunnel I think I got the solution. Get a another engine and pull the engine out so you can rerail the engine.

2:25 you should put a Tidmouth sheds extension on the track between the current shed wall and Thomas' track.
You should also add some crates and semi trucks next to cranky, and a village around Knaford Station.
6:14 I just have a basic 1 control layout. i don't know many systems like you have that aren't DCC.

I've seen some photos of old British trains that have a brake coach right behind the locomotive, and one at the rear.
9:48 do you use 22 inch radius curves or 18 inch radius curves? I use 18 inch radius curves because that's what came in my first HO scale set.
I really think you should do the layout expansion. It would look incredible and honestly you could use two main line railroad tracks. I just installed my second loop of track about a week ago and it really helps out. Oh just a suggestion do ever plan to install the narrow gauge thomas stuff into your layout???

I have two ideas for you, #2 in the middle you should have a lake to represent Brendam docks. #2 in the junction you should get a bachmann signal box

I think that would be an AWSOME idea to connect the to layouts maby your next layout could be a snow theme like on the episodes where Thomas gets stuck in the snow drift an Tearance The Tractor had to help pull him out maby a snow theme for your next layout I think that would be cool.

I think you should do the last thing you were talking about. And somehow add narrow gauge to the current layout
the new brake coach with the white wall wheels is an old 80's coach, where as the other two are the newer version with metal wheels (other has plastic wheels) the wheels are interchangeable. Cranky would look better moved.

if you expand your layout table out a bit around the main line crossing you could probley put the skarloey railway in

Thanks very much. Eventually we are going to expand and I will do full tutorial and updates. Basically the trees were just glued to the table and watered down glue was used to hold the grass and dirt.

I think you should double the size of your table for the layout because you are clearly running out of space.
And yes I know how hard that is to do
Put cranky in the corner. Also stop challenge them "steamies" steam is invisible. What you see is the junk from the fire box, smoke, and water vapor. There engines (ref RR terms and Original pre Hit Thomas) also for the cars put the brake coaches on opposite sides and have the backs to the ends and have the coach in the center. Also I have a brake version of the red ones seen in the early days of the show.
Add an extra table and put the n scale track there and make a skarloey railway with skarloey
The Hornby stock are nutritious for derailing because they are oo gauge on Ho track the two are slightly different
When you do the road can you please add grade crossings?

I noticed that you mentioned that Hornby models tend yo derail on your layout. I think the problem are the wheels on the Hornby rolling stock, cause I had that problem to. If you buy some Bachmann wheels and swap them, then your coaches and other rolling stock should be a bit less prone to derailing.

I hope you didn't watch the American version of Peace & Quiet... hopefully you watched the UK version. If you watch them both side by side, there's a huge difference between them, and this goes for all season 7 episodes
Are you gonna get Rosie and Rheneas when they're released and are you gonna add Narrow Guage tracks to your layout.
Bachmann release promises are completely unreliable. I will get the new releases if they ever do them.

Thank you for the warning but honestly it is of little concern. There are a lot of items in my house that could be deadly if I ate them. The reason lead is dangerous is when it is used in items that a toddler might gnaw on like a lead painted toy. But I think we are safe as long as we don't chew on the tracks and road bed. Funny thing is if you look it up on forums it's a lot of similar comments. So I do appreciate the head ups though! Bachmann trains are rated for older kids and adults - maybe that is one reason - other than a toddler would break it - lol!

mr traintsar fun i would extened your layout and add a docks for salty murdoch and cranky and an sodor china clay mine for bill ben and mavis and also buy other engines like hornbys bear and bouler the green diesel or maybe even the hornby thomas version of the flying scotsman or even dart from day of the diesels finally i woould add an extra napford station to look more like the one from the seris, but hey its not my choice but yous plus please do more racing like you did a long time ago thnks for makiing vids cirthy! p.s maybe make an henrys tunnel or instead of having one loop have two connecting them by an point it would be so much cooler thanks again Cirthy!

I so want to do that. I also want to do the "Tank's of Hazzard" featuring Thomas and Percy as Bo and Luke Duke. Diesel 10 as Boss Hogg. Devious Diesel as Roscoe "Coal Train". Emily as Daisy Duke. Henry as Uncle Jesse. Working on who should be Cooter. Another nice diesel needs to be Enos or Cletus. Maybe Edward and Stepney as Coy and Vance. What do you think?

you could maybe make an area of track a coaling dock for the locomotives to go under to get coal if they need.maybe add some building over by the shed like there was in the older thomas episodes and as for coaches.i had some hornby coaches that would derail as well when i was young so i went to my local hobby shop and he said to fix it was ether to sand the wheels down or buy a new set of wheels that are mint for usa brand model trains and i bought a new set of wheels on ym coaches and they started working fine.now idk about thomas because this was back before thomas had HO scale in the usa when i was young so it might not work but give a try and see what happens

Put Cranky in that corner if like Thomas needs to get loaded he could stop on the mail track if Salty drops a train of he could but it in. the siding also make a road and parking lot by unaffordable station
also get the engine shed and put in the corner where you want to put Cranky for Salty
