I think the bend in your track is too tight. That might be some (or most) of the derailing problem. There is a turning radius that is suggested for best use.
@@TrainTsarFun Okay. I could just be the wheels then. I was just thinking that if it is from the UK the turning radius for Hornby might be different from Bachmann because the UK uses centimeters. Anyhow, I do hope you got both sets to stay on the track. They are very nice sets. Not an exact visual match, but the colors are spot on with the TV Series.

The hornby express coaches are so much more accurate to the TV series than the Bachmann ones. Plus the hornby ones are lighter.

If you file the plastic rail on the switches, by putting the file in between the rails, that will help stop the train cars from derailing.

Train Tsar Fun I've been running them on bachmann Ez track. Oddly enough. my Flying Scotsman Coaches have no problem with the switches what so ever.
Do a video on all of the locomotives and rolling stock you have

All the Bachmann sets come with 18" radius track which is the minimum radius on the layout
