How to control the ball in Futsal

I didn't know that you are not supposed to receive with side of foot. I play soccer but not much futsal. But today I played futsal and man I am bad. Now I want to learn futsal skills.

@@nofurtherwest3474 Because usually you want to be able to move more quickly. You have the extra space, you can let the ball settle slightly ahead so you can begin accelerating more quickly. But in Futsal they don't have the same space, so the control is more important than the speed.

Very dependant on the pass you receive, some players don’t have great pass appreciation so lift the pass slightly making it difficult to control with the sole of your foot. Being able to control the ball with the inside of your foot as well is very important

The ball your using isn’t for futsal, you have to use a size 4 ball to be able to control the ball the right way in futsal. The ball your using is for normal football size 5
