I have had one of these since they first came out. Love it! I split my time between my homes in Thailand and New York and have had mine on 3 international trips back and forth. Not one issue. Highly recommended.
@LuskArcheryAdventures Wow, John! Where were you? I have lived in Thailand for 35 years. Started out in 1988 as a missionary working with the Akha hilltribe in Chiang Rai until 1996. Then, I joined the company I still work for to this day. Go back and forth between Bangkok and New York quite frequently.
You should look at the eberlestock hercules duffel bag. Its a duffel bag with a hard bow case attached to it. Its a really cool bag/case. It has wheels too!
it looks nice but i would still pick a hard case every time, the luggage handlers at the airport are not nice. they will surely throw big heavy stuff on top of it.
Hey John don’t know if you’ll see this. Been looking at these recently and I’ve been wanting to know if you’re able to put a tsa lock on them? Great video as always thank you!
I have a bit of kuiu stuff. I notice you have a lot Is there a reason you stick w that stuff ? Check out the RIGID bow case. I have one. It’s not a check bag case but it’s great for everyday use. I haul the whole thing into the field. Drop it. Unpack in the field and pack up before I leave. Waterproof lightweight and tough. Also not cheap 😢
when I see the offer of a "DISCOUNT CODE' - it means you are a salesman/influencer ... NOT an impartial reviewer. It is important for viewers to understand the difference. ..... Trusting baggage handlers with your bow - in a soft case - that's an invitation for disaster.
Not really. When UA-cam says the vid includes a Paid Sponsorship, that is for Stay Sharp Guide broadhead sharpeners, which is a paid sponsor, so I’m required to disclose that. My whole channel is based on objective reviews-and I REALLY strive to do that. When I test something and really like it, then I sometimes ask the manufacturer for a Discount Code. But only after I test it, like it, and ask for it. I’ve had companies offer me discount codes or payment, but politely decline their offer unless I REALLY like the gear. While this case is soft, it has very rigid walls that prevent crushing. It tested well enough for me to trust my bow on a trip of a lifetime to Alaska-and that additional test was successful enough for me to feel 100% confident with it. That all being said, each person has to make their own determination on those matters, which I completely respect. Until I examined and tested this one, I only used hard walled cases.
There are so many great soft shells out there. But when you’re adding weight and travel, it gets a lot harder to find the right one, in my opinion. But it could be a good vid idea. Thank you

Yeah, I did that for years. This was so much nicer and every bit as secure.
Great review John.
Thank you
That is nice. Always have a backup bow.
:)
Could you to a soft shell case as well I have been looking for one for a couple of months now and would love to hear your opinion
There are so many great ones. You can just google it and then see the features they have or don’t have in your price range.

Yes you can. I did on my trip to Alaska. I put locks where the zippers intersect each other.

Nice. I just love Kuiu; incredible clothing for the price.

Too soft to be a hard case.
Too big for a soft case.
No way I’d ever check my bow in a soft case. Glad it worked out for you, but no bueno.
I used to think that way too…until I packed it and traveled with it on 6 flights.
