I can't believe you rode the dragon without me, Mr. Bill. What's next? The Ocoee River Maze?
Bunch of NC videos coming. We're loving being on this end of the Parkway!
Never drove the dragon. Great informational video my friend.
Good video Mr. Bill
Thank Juan!
I've ridden the Dragon twice. Both times we were with a group of motorcyclists of which a couple were certified instructors. First time we pulled up to the meeting place in a big gravel area at the beginning of the ride, and had to wait while a medivac helicopter landed and carried off a guy whose driving talent wasn't what he thought. Second time we were following one of the instructors (about 3 bikes back) and we come up on a sharp right hand turn, only to find our leader (the instructor) in the ditch. The speed limit was 30mph, and that was too fast.
We were in the truck. I had to speed the video up to make it watchable. There are parts where we had to crawl around the curves!
I counted there are not 318 curves. Also, there is a cool place to eat when go passed deals gap, it's a rental place with a restaurant if you haven't tried it.
Been there several times. It's way overrated, in my opinion. I like the road less traveled.
I'd rather be on the Parkway. I'd take the road less traveled but not until we get a new vehicle that I've been putting off for 5 years!
