A tip for you, you could have start the engine of your bike... let it run about 5-10 min. Exhaust manifold would be really hot. Touch the wet matches to exhaust manifold, it would get dry in seconds and burn. :) There are many ways to start fire by using things from your motorbike. You had gasoline, battery, maybe 12V lighter socket etc.

You just learned a very important lesson, never rely on one form of starting a fire, take a lighter, ferro rod, flint and steal, or make some wax matches and a strip of striker in a small water proof container, also your little gas stove might have had a piezo igniter on it, love seeing some places that I unfortunately due to health issues will never get to see.

yep, quad lock is solid. I use it offroad as well. Have taken several crashes and my phone has never been damaged. I would say that the wireless charger can not keep up with the battery draw if you have your phone screen on and GPS sensor in use constantly, but if you plug the wire into your phone directly it can. So I wouldn't probably mess with the wireless charger, I ended up sending it back and just using the charging cable straight into my phone.

Life is beautiful
I have been using the quadlock system since getting back into biking in 2020.
The first one was on my CRF250 Rally, which was subsequently stolen, also did not have the damper so phone had issues.
I then got the tiger, so bought another set complete with vibration damper and charger head.
A few months back I upgraded my phone so needed a new case, i was also planning on getting a new bike, so I got all the attachments required to suit the new bike, as well as buying a vent holder and magnetic charge head for the car (its ideal and such good quality) thus buying the magnetic case too.
Now I have the new bike, i swapped over with the help of the new brackets but had no charging point to pick up on. On Tuesday I had the first service done on the bike (whoops did 1200+ miles in 3 weeks lol) and they also fitted my quadlock control from battery to charging head.
It’s pretty good, it has a switch so once set up if you put it on auto it will only draw power for charging while the engine is running - perfect.
