You are correct, sir. I wish I knew about this 17 years ago. I moved in with my ex-wife before marriage and, oh boy, it was wild. A lot of ups and downs. If only I had more time to understand who she was and what to watch out for (red flags), I could've easily avoided her to begin with. However, I thank God that through my experience, it taught me a lot about the value of marriage, relationship and respect. Young people, if you're reading this, listen to the guy in the videos. It'll save you a lot of pains. I promise you. Be patient. God is never too late nor too early! Again, I'm telling you, my friends: be PATIENT!
You are spot on ❤ If people really stopped to seriously think what goes on mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically when moving in/cohabitating... I bet most would not take that chance.... commitment to marriage and building up together, would be the path most would take! Thank you!! ❤
Right on! 🎉 Emotional connection may never happen if a couple lives together 1st. We are not in the norm and have lasted 41 years. But, we have been paying the price all these long years 😢 It could have been better if we had DATED 1st. The proper way. I was only 19 at the time we got married and only jist turned 18 when we started to live together. Pretty dumb 😢
I found that living together after marriage was also a bad idea. I concluded that a duplex might work, if you can't afford separate houses, or preferably separate cities. That is, of course, if you suffer from so much irrational optimism that you still think marriage is not a terrible idea.
