hmm apreciate the videos just wanted a game to hold me over till poe2 and saw the ice crystal arrow, lottery boxes for core skills feels not great tbh but thanks for the guide on this and ice crystal arrow aswell if i get it before the 6th :)
I stopped buying stash tabs because of these changes. It is extremly hard to get rare skills now. The best and fast way is through events. Worst decision they made in this game. News players will struggle a lot with this, basically giving up the game.
Only a few builds requires yellow selection boxes for the skills. And out of those only One is viable this season. Blue selection boxes are easy to come by and you can get at least a few a day. You are making it much more, then it actually is.

i still can't get the ice crystal arrow, trick shot and seal of persistence. so sad so hard to get them!
It's gonna take some time, you can play other bow build and keep working towards ice crystal arrow.
