He's highly probably the only vocalist (males and females) on earth that can sing bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor PLUS all sopranos......all fully and equally supported and with power.

Welcome to Dimash Land! Dimash is from Kazakhstan, currently 27 years old. He sings in 12 languages, plays 7 musical instruments.
You can choose two different paths.
The first way: you can start with the oldest videos, from 2017, in which he participated in a competition called "The Singer". Participants were all professional and recognized singers in China. Dimash became a star in China literally overnight. His first song was SOS (in French), then Opera 2 (in Russian), Autumn Strong (in Chinese), Adagio (in English), Show Must Go On (in English), Daididau (in Kazakh). Also include Screaming Idols Hits (in English), Love Is Like a Dream (in Russian), Olimpico - Arnau (in Italian).
The second way: you can start with the most recent. I suggest: SOS 2021 (in French), Stranger 2021 (in English), Love is Like a Dream 2021 - Slavic Bazar (in Russian), Be With Me - The MV version (in English and Kazakh), Olimpico (in Italian).
These ones to start. Dimash has a lot of wonderful songs on his channel. Just a detail. If you start with the oldest ones, you will have fewer copyright issues. With newer videos, better distort the image or cover it with a filter to avoid problems. And a little detail: his name is DimAsh, with an "a" sound.

"Stranger" is his newest, amazing, mystic, epic.
"Be With Me" (yes, watch MUSIC VIDEO) is pop with a surprise thrown in. Totally different from what you've heard so far.
"Olimpico" is operatic, yet has heavy drums with almost tribal feel to the beat, so hard to describe, definitely unique.
"Across Endless Dimensions" is a sci-fi movie theme song. I happen to like the original MV because of the cool sci-fi graphics, but he also performs it live.
He has several traditional Kazakh songs from his homeland, such as "Qairan Elim" and "Daididau".
All his MVs are good, nice cinematography. There are live performances also for all the songs that he has as MVs, both formats are good, just personal preference.

When I heard thisnthe first time was maybe my second time hearing Dimash. But I had to listen to it several times before coming to the conclusion that the song was the most difficult song written to try and sing Dimashs version of the song. This is AStudio band on stage that the piano player who wrote it asked Dimash to sing it in lamentation for their lead singer who had passed years before. This was AStudio and dimashs collaboration of the song. Dimash put in the throat singing a style use in traditional singing at funerals. I had never heard it. It was the most difficult song ever sung ever sung Dimashs version. No male or female could repeat it. I thought that even he had done so well that even he couldn’t repeat it. That place where he didn’t take a breath while doing runs riffs and scaeles was 24 seconds without a breath. I thought it was his best ever. But it wasn’t. Even tho this was a “10” he’s gotten better still. Enjoyed your reaction. Hope to see more of you. I’ve seen you before but I liked and subscribed.
The story about the funeral singing is untrue. It is neither throat singing nor used at funerals. I'm not quite sure where this urban myth started. I asked Marat about this and he said it is simply a traditional Turkic style, more common in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Dimash likes it and practiced it by himself.

Once at his sold out solo concert D - Dynasty Moscow Concert 2019....the other at his sold out large scale solo concert ARNAU KINETIC VOICE in Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan on June 29th, 2019 in front of 40,000 fans. 13,552 were international fans that traveled to Kazakhstan just for this concert.

I know you must have many comments. Yes, Dimash has shown many times with repeat performances of even more intricate degrees of difficulty that he is no one trick pony. It was just y thought the first time I heard sinful passion. I thought how could this song with its range and tribal throat singin and singing for 24 seconds without a breath and runs and riffs and that scale. But I did hear him do it again like with across endless dimensions which at first was done in a studio and put in a music video. And I waited for the live versions. Here in the states our radio musi is so compromised. But dimash picks, writes, collabs and covers songs that have integrity or real romance without the sexuality. Country and rock compares the high of loving some one to the high of drugs and alcohol

You need to check "SOS" from the chinese competition "I am a Singer" in 2017 (it's super easy to find, probably his most watched video). It was the turning point in Dimash's career and is probably the best intro into to what Dimash can do.

You have just listened to the one who is considered the best singer in the world today. His range, which he didn’t totally explore here, is over 7 octaves, from A1 to D8, that we have heard him sing. Humble, intelligent and incredibly talented, he is also very dedicated to his craft and a perfectionist. For your own enjoyment in your private time, I recommend that you listen to « Sinful Passion Moscow Fancam », a more recent version of this song that I think is even better.
Next you may want to react to « Stranger », just released this summer, « Ave Maria », « Love is like a dream », « Be with me », and « Daybreak Bastau ». That will give you a good idea of the different styles he can do.

Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop, and jazz, was a major in Technique. He also completed a Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in a Chinese singing show for professional singers. The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China.

Dimash is one of the best, if not the best, singers on the planet today. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was later found to have perfect pitch.
Dimash has been on stage since childhood: he sang and played the piano at various venues and competitions throughout his childhood. The young artist was not only a bright performer of famous hits, but also the author of his own songs. He had written seven songs by the age of 24.
His genres include rap, pop, rock, classic, Opera, traditional Kazakh folk and ballad. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, as well as contemporary music, pop and jazz.
He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He is currently working on his PhD in musical composition.
His 7 octave range (C2-D8 whistle tone) and 10 semitones is beyond comparison.
His vocals range from a rich low bass/baritone to extremely high soprano notes. On at least one occasion he has sung a D8 in whistle tone for 5 seconds with vibrato. He is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of range you have but in fact how you use it to move people. On top of all this, he embodies every song he sings and always gives 100% for his audience.
He's a genius at mixing genres in a song, a style he himself refers to himself as neo-classic. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan.
Dimash has performed songs in 12 different languages: his native language Kazakh, as well as Russian, Mandarin, English, French, Ukrainian, Italian, Kyrgyz, Turkish, Serbian, German, and Spanish. He speaks Kazakh and Russian, and studies English and Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it.
At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in I Am a Singer, a Chinese competition show for professional singers. He ultimately placed second because at the time the rules of the show disallowed anyone who wasn't Chinese to take first place. The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China.
He is also famous in Russia for his neoclassical work with famous Russian/Ukrainian composer and arranger Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash. Igor has written songs for Dimash and arranged previously composed music specifically for Dimash. He is often at the piano for many of Dimash's performances.
Dimash has since introduced pop songs in Russia as well. He was on a solo world tour when the pandemic struck. There are several full concerts available to watch online. His concerts are usually around 2 ½ hours with an eclectic mix of vocal styles and genres. He was born into a musical family and both of his parents are famous singers and musicians in Kazakhstan, his mother being an operatic soprano. He was offered a position in the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned this position down to pursue his own path in neoclassical and contemporary music.
Although he works with producers and promoters in other countries his music is produced and distributed through his own company called Dimashali Creative Center.
Dimash plays seven instruments: piano, drums, guitar, keyboard, dombra (the most popular Kazakh instrument, like a lute), marimba (like a xylophone), and bayan (which is like an accordion).
On May 24th, 2021 he celebrated his 27th birthday. He is most widely known through his live performances and has released several albums, the first one going platinum in 37 seconds in China and triple platinum in less than an hour. It has been widely recognized that his high notes are not whistle tones but head voice. Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it is spectacular.
He has many millions of fans worldwide which he has named his "Dears" He is soft spoken, polite, respectful, elegant and classy, also extremely humble, and possesses a wonderful sometimes self-deprecating sense of humor. He is often dismissive of his amazing talent and seldom goes without mentioning his love of country and its history.

For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. Stranger is one of his newest songs, in English. You may experience copyright issues-some reactors blur or miniaturize the image/s. Incredible live performance. Be With Me is a video mostly in English and includes rap. Not my favorite production but Dimash is never bad. I love the video Screaming (versus the live performance, which almost is a different song). I love either the video or the 3D holographic live performance of Endless Dimensions, made for a SyFy film. Both of those are in English. Two other 'classics' are SOS, which first brought him to real international attention when he competed in a talent show in China about 5 years ago - that's in French. The. Olympico version of Ognia Pietra - that's in Italian - is amazing. The version that opens with the lightsticks in the audience showcases him the best but doesn't show the choir on the revolving stage beneath him.Run from the fancam version. I've never heard him give less than his all.

The light sticks version and the revolving choir version are from 2 different performances from 2 different venues. The one with light sticks are from Dimash's large scale sold out solo concert ARNAU KINETIC VOICE in Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan.....June 29th, 2019...... in front of 40,000 fans from 64 countries. 13,552 were international fans that traveled to Kazakhstan just for this concert. The one with revolving choir is from Worldskills Kazan 2019 in Kazan, Russia where Dimash is an invited guest performer.
