One of the best if not the best channels for Milwaukee reviews in the automotive world. This guy doesn’t just torque a lug nut and show you takin it off. He uses it in real world situations which I really like. Keep it up
I literally bought this the day it went on sale, probably the best tool I’ve gotten from Milwaukee since the 3/8” stubby impact. I work at a GM dealer and This tool Has made small tasks like Cleaning the inside of a rim to balance a wheel a breeze, since now I can easily maneuver with the lack of a hose and also being super quiet. With being an apprentice as well, it has allowed me to just go outside and do some cleanup by getting rid of some old random shopping carts and a golf cart by cutting it all down with nothing stopping me. Highly recommend this tool, it has definitely revolutionized my work flow and helped with efficiency!
I bought one of these, I didn’t realise just how much I’d use it until I got it, I’m always picking it up for little jobs like cleaning off rust or cleaning gasket surfaces etc, absolutely brilliant tool and probably one of the best from Milwaukee
Nice die grinder I bought the angle one- for removing rivet on door panel just use a drill with a drill bit it will bust the head off and will be a lot easier to remove rivet
Mate I agree this is one of my absolute favourite tools I own from milwaukee super handy I hate the air compressor hose getting in the way so this solved that for me
I used to use spot-weld drills to get rid of those window regulator rivets Knock the center pin out with a punch aluminum is super soft and will cut away like it's nothing.
My justification for this tool is I do not have room for a large air compressor for my air die grinder. This tool allows me to bypass air altogether although the capability and power of air dies is great.
This channel always pops up and I always watch the videos and just realized I'm not subscribed lol took care of that ! This guy is awesome for milwaukee reviews keep it up I'll continue to watch !
I gotta get me one of those. I mostly use my 90 for trimming valances and cutting switch holes in dashes. It’ll be so nice to ditch the air hose. Milwaukee is killing it with their cordless stuff. The only air tools I still use is my air hammer and 90 and straight grinders.
@@HowtoAutomotive I highly recommend the M12 3/8" impact. Good amount of power especially for the size and so fun to use Edit: looks like you already have experience with it!
Tyrone Trinity glad you like the video. Have you checked out the straight version? Here’s a link for the video I made on it.ua-cam.com/video/Gxnv5H_GDNc/v-deo.html
thanks for this video, if I have an regular cordless impact drill, will it do the same ? I mean after all , all it does is spin, with different speed and torque. thanks
Braden Wuesthoff there is a adapter that chucks up to the tool. There just a standard quarter inch adapter made for cut off wheels that you can purchase at Home Depot and other department stores.
The 2.0 batteries are weak. Two of the 2.0 batteries barley did a small block Chevy intake manifold and the surface of the heads where the intake attaches to.
Nice review of the tool but I'm just curious those rivets inside the door why wouldn't you just drill them out rather than using the cut off wheel like that because now you just brought the paint around the rivet down to bare metal which isn't a good thing. It would have been much easier to just drill the rivet out in my opinion unless there's something that wasn't told in the video that I don't know about or if it's just for the purpose of you showing it and you really don't care that the door is now grinded down to bare metal around the rivet hole.
The only reason why I didn’t drill them out, is because the stud portion of the rivet was still inside of the rivets, and it was too risky to hammer on to knock them through without breaking the glass.
Dear DeWalt: WHERE is OUR DeWalt Cordless Right Angle Die Grinder & our Cordless Soldering Iron?!? I am so close to selling my THOUSANDS of $$$ of DeWalt cordless tools & going with Milwaukee because you are LAGGING...

Nicholas Siqueira That’s awesome I’m glad it was major like that much better. Thank you for watching!
I work at a chevy dealership also that's a good idea for removing the sticky from the wheel weights I have the milwaukee grinder also
Nicholas Siqueira what attachments do you recommend for removing the sticky weights adhesive? I use a pad but it sucks
heyitschino id like to know which attachment as well

Excellent video- No fluff - demonstrates all the possible uses for tool - I am considering-buying - thanks!
Nice die grinder I bought the angle one- for removing rivet on door panel just use a drill with a drill bit it will bust the head off and will be a lot easier to remove rivet
Finally, someone shows it in real applications. Mine arrives 6/1/22

Nice video! Can you please provide a link for the attachments you use for cleaning off gasket material?
This is some good darn content!
Nam Pham thank you!
Excellent review! Can I ask what material that pink abrasive disc is please?

Glad you like the reviews. About time you subscribe. Lol thank you!
I just got one and have used it, LOVE IT!! easier than the air grinder
I’ve had mine now for three years and it’s still going strong and I love it.
Brian, that you for a very thorough review!!!
Keep up the excellent work sir! Go team Milwaukee!
thalegacy6 thank you!
@@HowtoAutomotive You bet!
What attachment was used on the transmission pan?
Good video! I work at ford and do a lot of VCT’s and timing chains. I think I need one of these

thanks for sharing
Hey so quick question what disc do you recommend for removing gaskets on iron and aluminum
I like to use the 3M scotch Brite disc for both but the only difference is I use a worn out used one on aluminum
I love this vid man! good stuff!! keep it up

Also I never subscribe to any channels but you did this review so well I look forward to seeing more (I subscribed)
Best video I've seen yet, still on the fence about this tool. Want one yes, but is it worth the money for me? Still deciding!!
It’s only worth it if you’re going to use it on a regular basis
thanks for this video, if I have an regular cordless impact drill, will it do the same ? I mean after all , all it does is spin, with different speed and torque. thanks
steven Gao It will do the same thing. The die grinder just spins at a much faster speed.
If your drill spins at 24,500 rpm. Your good.
Wire wheels for this tool would be a bit dangerous? Minimum speed of 10k
Yea I just put wire wheels in my drill driver
I wish they would upgrade the m12 rotary tool with this motor
tizben you never know they probably will.
Milwaukee 2486-20 M12 Thats Exactly what they did!
Like the safety glasses. Which ones are they if you don’t mind sharing?
Byron Beverly there are the newest glasses that Milwaukee has just released. Here’s a video on them. ua-cam.com/video/bX33cdoB8jU/v-deo.html
So would you recommend picking this up for a weekend warrior? Picked up a cheap pneumatic but with a tiny conpressor it take sforever to do anything.
LacrosseMan0428 It’s a perfectTool for a weekend warrior and a pro a like.
@@HowtoAutomotive Thank you for the response!
Ty
How do you attach a cutt off wheel?
Braden Wuesthoff there is a adapter that chucks up to the tool. There just a standard quarter inch adapter made for cut off wheels that you can purchase at Home Depot and other department stores.
👌😁 thanks again Brian for the display of the new Milwaukee right angle tools. Looks like good stuff👍
Dave D they are handy tools. thank you for watching!

Small and takes the bur off the outside of copper pipe in a flash my wrist best friend is this little guy.
Just gone one of these couldn't stand my husky air one with my 6 gallon tank
Let the sparks fly!
I'd rather have a trigger like Milwaukee has always used on it's corded die grinders. ;-)
OscarWhiskeyFoxtrot I’m still up in the air on the trigger.
Lot of reviews are negative with the issue of the grinder shutting off continuously during useage, have you experienced that...?
Yes it shuts off all the time with the slightest pressure
Why wouldn't you drill out the center of the rivet………
Nice review of the tool but I'm just curious those rivets inside the door why wouldn't you just drill them out rather than using the cut off wheel like that because now you just brought the paint around the rivet down to bare metal which isn't a good thing. Great Video Tools 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌✌✌✌✌✌
JR Electrician thank you!!
Have to let the tool do the work force it and it will bounce back and hit you
In 7 more years when my pneumatics die grinders go out I'll look into this👍🍺🔧
Lone Star Auto I don’t blame you.
👍
The pneumatic tools runs down my 60 gallon compressor
Dear DeWalt:
WHERE is OUR DeWalt Cordless Right Angle Die Grinder & our Cordless Soldering Iron?!?
I am so close to selling my THOUSANDS of $$$ of DeWalt cordless tools & going with Milwaukee because you are LAGGING...
Dude that's what I was going to say. They need some damn ratchets too.
Quarter horse power isn’t .3 of a horse power mate
Nothing makes me want to kms more than the word pneumatic. Weird ass word.
Shouldn’t use the batteries before charging them🥴
Why don't they start with battery life in the first 15 seconds instead of talking about all the things that arent important.
I'm a body man that could help alot
Andy Lopez I can see how it would well for body work.
My concern with that would be the motor getting plugged up with bondo and paint, or is it a sealed unit?
Come on Mike how much Miwaukee paying you to spot their M12. While I use M12 for years they have no place for this
application.
Greg Bungard I’m not sure what you’re talking about. This is exactly what it’s made for.
Go hit another crack pipe I'm a body guy and have been for over 20years and use this due grinder everyday and have been since it's release date.
This tool is terrible. I own over 20 Milwaukee tools. It cuts off constantly. It’s barely useable.
Possible you have a dud or is it just a bad design? I was looking to buy one but saw your comment
Any cheap knockoffs of this tool
