The elk have now come down from the high country

Just on time for the holiday season, these majestic elk are now roaming, where we have our trail cameras. I had no idea how thirsty these animals are. They are still bugling in mid December :-). Make sure you watch one elk break the ice, in order to get a drink from the frozen guzzler and another elk taking a rough step on ice but manages to recover just fine.
