Let me tell you. There is no better detailed video than this one explaining the different ways of returning the Sidespin which is one of the trickiest. Everyone is teaching how to do Sidespin serves. Table tennis has come along way since I first started.
Power, spin and placement for clean shots where my opponent can only watch the ball pass by ... slowly for my point. Classic.

Yes, we take the standard of contact on the sides of the ball but have to flexibly adjust the rubber face down or open depending on the backspin or the topspin.

Why did I see a different counter on the side spin serve at video time 6:17? I thought when you are given a side spin then you also do the counter blocking the opposite way of the side spin, But, as I see it's like a counter of underspin.
