The fun thing about a private server is that teams like this are always open to endless possibilities. I'm sure if the Monk and Blademaster fantasies are requested enough, the team could add them later. With that said, I do think there is a little too much holy going on here (Sun Cleric vibes). I liked the idea of the combo system, and that def could have been what the Monk and Blademaster could have been as its own thing (maybe speced those out), but I'm not a developer. Lets see how things shake out!

Please, with all my heart, could you add the lunar priest class like TYRANDE, who shoots arrows with a bow and who can heal with sacred arrows? I could be a tank, ranged damage, and healer, I might play with that class all my life, I would use mesh
By Samurai you mean Warcraft *Blade Master* ? Don't think they have a actual Samurai , in Warcraft lore , but the blade master would be the closest thing to it
I need to ask how is the early and mid game balanced? I ask because modern wow has made the major mistake of ignoring the early and mid game experience in order to rush players to the end game content and that is in my opinion a major mistake, one I really don’t want to see a private server make
I remember the old days of CoA, this class was first called rhonin, then monk for a good chunk of years, and now it’s Templar, it’s better in my opinion and it looks like what I would love in a paladin

Ascension now has multiple realm types! There's the classless realm, specialist realms like Wildcard, and now new realms on the way featuring classes. Conquest of Azeroth is 21 new classes, and Bronzebeard will be a Classic+ realm with the original 9 classes
I understand but its sad how this class's themeing changed. Like you showed it around thr scarlet crusade a lot but you can use the witch hunter and sun cleric for that. I get it is tryint to be a diablo monk rather than a warcraft monk but the point of the class was to have a blademaster spec, and to have it be more alliance focused with the themeing is a let down.

I can see why some would but I just don’t see how it’s different from the Sun Cleric in class fantasy To me the new Templar seems like a Sun Cleric Lite based on the class description. The old one was better imo. At least it had a distinct class fantasy. Would love if it could instead be a totally fist weapon or unarmed play style class that draws inspo from pugilist, monks/martial arts, and brawlers. The monk/martial artist would be a melee support class with high crit and strength, the pugilist will be rushing melee dps with high burst and stuns, and the brawlers would be a tank with absorbs and shaking off damage and high stam/strength that gets more hp the longer he fights. All have a passive that increases their primary stat the longer they fight (ie +1% Stam every 3 seconds or +15 crit rating every 3 seconds or +10% strength every 3 seconds )
I mean its cool, but why have both this AND Sun Cleric, esspecially since Sun Cleric doesn't seem to really evoke Sunwalker, imo definitley should have stuck with Monk
You guys are doing a great job, but you need to cater more into feeling like a vanilla experience, like you guys advertised. Mobs scaling to your level and the shitload of damage some specs pump at low levels is not the way to go. Also, please get rid of, or at least tone down the gold from gear that comes from those chests that drop when you complete a quest, sometimes i get dozens of gold even before level 30, if at least we had to train our spells at a trainer or something, it would make it better.
I pretty much disagree with everything you said. If I wanted the actual vanilla experience, I'd go play WoW classic. I like that this is more an enhanced version of vanilla.
I definitely think they need to lower so of the insane damage in the early game as that just kind of encourages the player to rush to the end game and that is a mistake modern wow keeps making. Th early game should be a challenge as that keeps players invested long enough to enjoy the end game
Heck, no , they kinda needed another Holy like class to balance out the dark edgelord classes. Blood Mage, Reaper , Necromancer, etc . Nice to have the Polar opposites , which would be Templar and Sun Cleric. They probably should add Blade Master, Monk, and even a Brew master in the future@@Nortrin

Yes / who knows. Don't ask for leveling dungeons to be hard because Ascension is mostly NOT about the "leveling experience".

Need blade master as hero class. Available for Human, Draenei, Orc, Troll and Pandaren.(and Kul tiran, Light draenei, Maghar, Zandalar troll too). 2h sword/axe/polearm tank, 2h sword/axe/polearm dps, dual wield dps.
