I have killed several packs of raptors and very often it happens that out of a pack of 4 there were 1 or 2 eggs in it but not a single grey item. No idea how you are supposed to get rich. If all the tips are as helpful as this one that I checked, then I can save myself the trouble of watching more videos here.
yeah the ones i tried at lvl 30 and 35 were the same... like 30 +mobs for 5 grey items worth 40 silver... I will be lvl 80 before i can get 100 gold for the mount
The Swap of Sorrows Jaguar spot is dreadful, just in case anyone is even considering it, don't. I left Desolace to try something else, and what a total waste of time. I got a Long Soft Tail drop maybe every 15 mob kills

Just Vendor things, dont buy or sell on AH. Save valuble items for AH to sell in 3 weeks. Example: Everyone now sells Swift potion for 3/4 silvers. Buy all u can, that will costs MINIMUM of 25 silvers in 3 weeks so 20 silvers profit or 1 gold per stack.
@JaggedJack1 bingo. Currency inflation in classic is so rapid, especially at the start of servers, that making the profit in his example is simply retaining his silvers value.

You are wrong, I've been doing Desolace, Feralas, now Tanaris, and all of those are amazing, the only one so far that hasn't worked for me is Swamp of Sorrows
“Raw Gold Farming” as in farming mobs with greys that vendor higher than others or drop decent amounts of silver. It’s like watching a “profession gold guide” and then complaining that they only talked about professions.

Best is to lvl a mage, learn to aoe, get to 60, buy a bis boe for your main class.
@ you can aoe farm mobs in Mara (not the 300 pull) to get elemental earth and solid stone. One or both are used by almost every raider
@ and when dire maul comes out you can do DM west jump runs for arcane crystals
So as a mage, do raw gold farming untill you can solo ZF (?)

Thing is, I will also be wealthier myself in 3 weeks. So 3/4 silver right now is probably about as valuable as 25 silver in 3 weeks.
