- Reduced activity and prolonged bedrest that often accompany spinal cord injury can lead to development of pressure ulcers. The Braden Scale is widely used for assessing pressure ulcer risk and it is validated for use with people with spinal cord injuries.

The scale is a copyrighted document.My company had to pay a licensing type fee and it was not inexpensive.
