Thank you for your wonderful designs and supporting videos! My favorite Easter tradition is being at Holy Mass with my husband and as many of our children as can make it and then going home for a family celebration to include an Easter egg hunt for the grandchildren and a full spread feast of family recipes!
Lovely design! My grandma always had the little ones stay overnight and color eggs. One of the adults would come get the eggs after bedtime and come back early in the morning to hide them in her yard. She would make chicken & dumplings and cherry cobbler for after church. My daughter loved it as much as my generation did.
My kids & their kids are all grown (yes, I'm really old), but my neighbors young children call me nana (we've been neighbors since before they were born), so I like to do a little something for them on Easter. Last year, for example, I made them Easter bag/baskets that included a bunny applique from Kreative Kiwi!
Love the design, will have to make a few, my children love Easter, even though they are all grown up. Loved Easter, went to church with my parents. We used to colour eggs when I was younger, and did an Easter egg hunt. I always coloured eggs with my kids and also to this day, I still hide chocolate eggs for my Older children, now 37 and 40. Best of all got my new DIL how to hunt for eggs (she never had done it before). I also make chocolate Easter bunnies for my kids for the last 40 years. Love the old traditions.
When I was little, I was the youngest of 5 girls. We would color eggs the night before writing our name on our egg. It would be put in our empty basket. On Sunday morning we would have a big breakfast, we lived on a farm so we had to go and feed the animals, the baby animals were mine to feed. Then when we were done we would go in and look for our baskets. Mine was always the easiest to find because I was the youngest. And usually one of the older girls couldn't find theirs. That was fun for me.😂😂😂😂
I loved the video. You explained very well all the steps. I love watching my little grandkids hunt eggs. When mine were younger I would always color eggs with them.
I can't name just one thing, it was the whole 3 days. On Friday we would go to church. On Saturday we would color eggs. On Sunday the kids would get up and look for their baskets, then eat a couple pieces of candy and have breakfast and then go to Church. When we came home we would go on a Easter Egg hunt in the the yard, eat a big dinner and enjoy the day with family and friends. Now that the kids are all grown up, I miss it all.
I have an Easter Hunt through our 1/2 acre of garden for the Great Grandchildren ,this started 28 years ago with their parents. being my Grandchildren ,I make a map every year, with them finding Bunny Eggs as well as other small items for them to enjoy, the older ones are to help the younger ones and to share all they find. Love, Love Easter with my family Lyn Francis Qld Austrailia
Easter tradition is always nice for the children to surch for basket and eggs..... Sorry Kay that it's been a while that I looked at your work but my mum died in the new year days and it was a terrible time.... I've made a memory bear fot my sister and one for my brother...now I have to make one for myself but when I'm finished I wll sure make this basket.... I'm already subcribed for years and I wil alway put my thumb ut for you!
Easter is a time for getting the family and grandchildren together and for me personally to remember our saviour died on the cross to save us and give us eternal life ✝️🙏❤️
Love these baskets will have to make a few I think for my childminding kiddos, In Ireland growing up we didn’t have the Easter bunny back in my day 😂 we started from shrove tues and would give up something for lent, Easter involved a lot of church ie shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, lent on Easter Sunday we would visit our grandparents (who gave us eggs) after church and we were allowed 1 Easter egg after church then no more till after dinner and our Easter film/movie but it was very much focused around Jesus
I learned a lot from this pattern. I have made a large and a small basket, and the small one was my trial. I did use the bag foam, but I bought it from Walmart. I was fortunate and caught it on sale.
Such a cute Easter basket. The Easter tradition for my family is to all bring a dish of food to share at my sister's house and then hide plastic eggs for the younger kids to hunt for.
I made three baskets to fill and use as easter bingo prizes. Since older kids dont want to unt for eggs we play easter bingo instead. Solves the problem of bad weather too.
i love to have a family meal at Easter. Now i am starting a new tradition as i now have grandchildren will make them something every easter with kreative kiwi and when i fly in to see them i have a personal keep sake for them along side the easter egg
Tradition in our family calls for a full family get-together after church services with a big meal, coloring, hiding and finding eggs...generally greaty fun with 3 generations participating.
Hi @cynthiabohr9476 because it has an embroidered edge. When you have something with an embroidered edge you dont want any stabilizer poking through the satin stitching, by using wash away stabilizer you get ride of it and you are left with beautiful borders. Happy stitching.
Searching for Easter baskets on Easter morning, only to find them in the refrigerator after giving up. We were getting the juice out for breakfast and there they wre!
I fill lots of plastic eggs with change and add a few "special eggs" in which the finder has to see my husband for a 1 or 5 dollar bill. The kids always love this.
Love this tutorial. Easter for my family is a time for reflection and remember that Jesus die for our sins, a time to share love with one another, in my family we do not do egg hunting, seem fun, maybe this year we can try and i can share this beautiful basket with them.

Dinner with family is the best at Easter. Since our parents passed, we took over the tradition of a large family meal.
I love watching the children color the eggs, it brings out how creative they are. Then we set them out with a treat for the bunny to hide.

Easter is all about family for me and celebrating new life!
Easter has a lot of traditions but my favorite was roller skating after a huge dinner with all the family.💕

Oh and obviously our lamb roast too 😂

This basket is absolutely adorable.
Such a cute Easter basket. The Easter tradition for my family is to all bring a dish of food to share at my sister's house and then hide plastic eggs for the younger kids to hunt for.
Sounds simple and basic, but I really enjoy coloring hard cooked eggs and look forward to it every year.
What I love about Easter is seeing the children's eyes when finding Easter eggs
Congratulations @user-pc2fm3ho1v you are our prize draw winner, please email me at kayscutz@gmail.com to claim your Kreative Kiwi loyalty points.
Wow great design and the video is such a big help! Thank you!
We have our Easter food blessed at church on Saturday
My favorite tradition is simply enjoying a family meal where each family brings a dish to share.
Egg hunting, children’s anticipation and excitement no matter how old they get ❤
Coloring Easter eggs with grandkids.
My favorite tradition about Easter is coloring eggs with my youngest son. He’s 25 now and still begs me to do it every year.
I made three baskets to fill and use as easter bingo prizes. Since older kids dont want to unt for eggs we play easter bingo instead. Solves the problem of bad weather too.

its great, will definately be making a few of these. Thank you
Having a family BBQ was always a fun thing to do. We would clean up and then we would go down to our part of the river beside our property for a swim.
Tradition in our family calls for a full family get-together after church services with a big meal, coloring, hiding and finding eggs...generally greaty fun with 3 generations participating.
My favorite tradition for Easter is hiding colored eggs in a field of tall grass and watching the children hunt for them!
We always have an Easter Egg hunt in the morning for the grandchildren, followed by breakfast, and then later in the day a family dinner.
That is so cute
Getting together with family!
watching my grandchildren eat the chocolat LOL
I love the basket, but why do you use wash away stablizer?
Hi @cynthiabohr9476 because it has an embroidered edge. When you have something with an embroidered edge you dont want any stabilizer poking through the satin stitching, by using wash away stabilizer you get ride of it and you are left with beautiful borders. Happy stitching.
I love the egg hunt with the children
Easter Mass then family dinner
