I’m so jealous.. I started school and after the holidays I was in SUCH a reading slump. I started and DNF ed 5 books :/ I’m watching book wrap ups to get me back into it 😅
I just got back into reading (again). And my January read was a read that I started in April of 2023. Technically I finished it on the first of February. But that was The Adventures of Anima Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty. And it was a 5 star read for me. Starting off February, Im reading two books but may dnf one.
So, I am reading my first SJM book right now. Your enthusiasm for Crescent City and my trust in your recs convinced me to start the series. I just started it 2 days ago, and I'm not too far into it, but so far, I'm really enjoying it and find myself thinking about it and wanting to get back to it when I'm not reading it, and I might have stayed up until 4am reading it last night so... Anyway I look forward to seeing where the story takes me. So, thank you!
I was in such a slump in January, after reading a bunch of mediocre books in December last year. I only got out of it towards the end of the month when I read And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, which kept me so hooked!
I'm slumpy and have been since October. I listened to 3/4 of Wizards First Rule and finished Engaging the Office Enemy which only took a week to read. I'd read Wizards 1st Rule about 15 years ago and loved it and I'm still loving it. Engaging the Office Enemy was a 2-star book for me.
I love monthly wrap ups! 😍 I love the Lore Olympus series & Crescent City series. ❤️ Oh no! I have The Hurricane Wars on my list to read since Mel mentioned it on her channel! 🫢 I had a great January reading too. Thnx for a great video!
My January wrap up will be up this week on my channel. I sadly only read 6 books this month but they were all 4-5 stars so I’m happy about that. I was sick for 3 weeks this month so if I wasn’t so sick I would’ve read more
Holy crap that synopsis for the hurricane wars is exactly like the Grishaverse particularly the Grisha trilogy idk if I’ll end up enjoying the hurricane wars cause I own the book too😅😭 I love Star Wars and the Grishaverse but Kylo ren I hattte as a character same for Rey so I might unhaul the book:(
January has been a solid start. 19 books including massive ones like Fourth Wing and rereading House of Sky and Breath. A lot were new books after post-Christmas voucher spending but I did squeeze in a few rereads too.
I read a court of frost and starlight and a court of mist and fury in January. I’m around 80% through a court of silver flames already for this month (really enjoyed the series), I’m hoping to pick up the pace for this month. My youngest daughter has picked a dawn of onyx for my next read 😊
I read one book in January, Wild is the Witch, and it was a 5 star read for me. I'm kinda okay that I read just the one book, at least I read something :)
It's funny because I've read the entire fanfic when it was posted (The Hurricane Wars), and all of your issues with the romance get addressed by the end. I totally think there has to be a previous knowledge of Star Wars and Reylo and that did bum me out a bit, too.
You should do a spoilers video on house of sky and breath so we know what you’re talking about. I read it twice and i don’t know what you’re referring too. Lol. And I’m interested and want to know 😊
I have to say I also heard good things about the Hurricane wars and wanted to give it a try 😂 reylo is not for me but I still think I'll read this one day. I JUST wish we could get a guy being the light and the girl being the darkness...😂😂😂 cmon variety 😂
Here's what I read in January Little women by Louisa may alcott All our demise by Amanda foody sequel to all of us villains The shining by Stephen king The fraud squad Yours truly by abby Jimenez Say you swear by meagan brandy Thicker than water by kerry Washington memoir The lost ticket by freya Sampson A marvellous light by freya marske Things we hide from the light by Lucy score Birthday girl by Penelope Douglas Practice makes perfect by Sarah Adams I dnf 1 book
I’m almost halfway thru CC3 and agree 100% that CC2 is the weakest book in the series. Idk what Sarah was doing in the second one but it just doesn’t compare to the first one. House of Earth and Blood is my favorite tied with Court of Silver Flames. I’m a Nesta stan and apologist 😂😂
Hello ! I just discovered your channel and I love your content ! Immediately susbscribed !

I’m super happy with the amount I read in january, 15 books and over 7000 pages! the only thing I felt was missing was a 5 star read🖤

My January reads was off the charts with 33 books.
I finished 25. But 33 is genius.
@@BooksWithJudy I wish this month was going the same way but only 3 down so far.
@@gailxoxo7286 I am in the middle of 3 books and have only finished 1 so far. disappointing XD
SAME GIRL. Honestly, it was a chore to get through The Hurricane Wars.
I loved Britney's memoir ❤

Hi Becca, I'd love to see you do a Sarah J. Maas book tier ranking once you've read her most recent book. Also! Maybe a character tier ranking too! :)

I need to read Stolen Heir after There Are No Saints 😊

I did make a spoiler video in 2022 when the book was released
What is the print behind you? It’s awesome
I mean I can't disagree with you abiut HOSAB but I also love it 😅

I still need to pick up Britney’s book 🥲

I have to say I also heard good things about the Hurricane wars and wanted to give it a try 😂 reylo is not for me but I still think I'll read this one day.
