Im torn between a 640xgc and a 650xgc; performance, reliability, & sound is the defining factor! I’ve been told v8’s post 2013 were made significantly more reliable. With the tune on your 640, how’s the reliability been?
Ima f10 guy with a n55 single turbo. I’m in the 400s rn with 100k+ miles and oem turbo. Shits are fucking golden if you do maintenance. I wouldn’t go 640 though, that’s definitely the cheap option; f06+ are legitimate boats and need that bigger engine to move it. N63tu is surprisingly good and so are the s engines. Your maintenance will be half as long as the n55, I still do every 3-4k on mine though bc you drive a bmw lol. Rn I’m looking toward getting a 650ix coupe and gutting the rear seats aswell as getting some real CF parts for it to save a few hundred lbs and have it weigh as much as a f10. Just dp and tune with ram air intakes should have the car sub 4.5s consistently even with the extra weight since it would push almost 600. Turbos are like 3k a piece but you can actually get your turbo re done by a few diff people for a few hundred each and probably get to 650-700 reliably along with other maintenance mods.
Yooo I just picked up these tail lights and I am about to install them, I was wondering how you hid the connecting wire for the sequential on the inner and outer lights, or did you wire it along the trunk arms?
These Bavgruppe tail lights also come in red...to keep more closely to OEM. I also will be installing on my 2014 M6. Bavgruppe also have new headlight assemblies...that's next.
