Great one mate! I agree with your comments on Rex. I always enjoy the snacks they serve and the friendly staff as well. IKR they really need to hurry up with this frequent flyer program my gosh. That and the lack of routes and flights is the only reason I don’t fly them more. I have heard that Rex are keen to launch ADL-SYD and Tasi flights and eventually get up to 30 737s! Also cmon mate the price of the flight starts from $69 that would’ve been way funnier 😂 Also you should move to Melb it’s better for flight options and we have heaps of good Chai Latte heheh 😉 keep it up mate!
Excellent video review Jayden! I sure like the look of this flight much better than Jetstar. The staff seem more professional and you actually receive a snack and coffee etc.. also one thing I really like about your videos is that you film the ENTIRE take off and landing, without that horrible fast forward thing that many reviews do which I HATE! The take off and landing is the BEST part my friend! Good on you and keep the great videos coming. Well done!

Also I am curious to find out how you manage to afford such frequent plane travel and accommodation. I'm guessing there may be a sponsor affiliated with your vlogs. Ah got cha! I thought South Melbourne and South Bank were the same thing😂 I sometimes get sponsorships but rarely. My major income here is from the UA-cam ads (like the ones at the beginning of the videos :D )

Highly recommend watching ABC Australia Four Corners story last night on the state of Australian airlines - in particular Rex. It would appear that the group will sadly be liquidated from this month as there’s just no buyers - I sure wouldn’t, a bunch of sad 40 year old Saabs, a third of them grounded, and half a billion of debt. I’m sad for the staff and the heritage out of the ashes of Ansett Airlines. The Queensland government will be scrambling to appoint another airline to their subsidised multiple hop regional air services. The only bright spot for the group is that someone will most likely snap up the profitable Pel Air charter airline subsidiary.
Seems like REX's fleets are composed mainly by ex-Virgin 737s. Hopefully this airline opens international routes soon, especially to Bali, considering how good the prospect that Bali has for Bali-Australia flights!
Looking forward to your report from Rex's first interstate flight into Perth, Jayden. At the moment we're stuck with Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin, none of which is an encouragement to travel interstate.

That was pretty cool that they upgraded you to a room with such a nice view, whenever I travel back down, I always request a room with a view of trams ( I love trams ! )🤣. And I am usually lucky to score that where I stay. I find it quite relaxing at night , especially.

If REX were to expand their service would suffer, their profits would drop. The population of Australia simply does not support three major airlines unless they went international in which case they will definitely go bankrupt after a short while. Regardless they are a foreign airline owned by Singaporean interests.

Have fun :D If you get the chance, try out Japan Airlines domestic business (Class J), it's just a nicer seat than economy, no extra perks, but if you're lucky sometimes it's only 1000 yen more than economy! Sometimes their first class is only 8000 yen more so it's worth taking a look :)

All Rex jets are ex Virgin. When Virgin collapsed during the Covid crisis they returned some of their leased aircraft to the owners and Rex picked them up.

I hope passengers eating in REX flights use sanitizer before dunking their cookie in their tea- because there’s no hand washing facility in the on flight toilets. It’s gross.
