A very interesting set of constructions! However the (exact) angle 51.85397...°, seems a bit unlikely, since there is no (usual) way to construct a triangle with base to height ratio of π/2 using a compass and straightedge. arctan(26/√417)=51.85366...°, looks more plausible here. The heights and bases of the other two pyramids generated in this video in units of half of that obtained for Khufu's base, i.e., Khafre: 5/4, 15/8, and Menkaure: 4/7, 32/35, are all simple fractions exclusively involving the first 4 prime numbers; so they could conceivably have been generated using other methods. The complete construction process shown here certainly does make for an elegant sequence, but whether the ancient Egyptians had this in mind, or whether the simplicity of their choices simply leads to the possibility of finding constructions of this sort, is unclear to me.
Holy hell… This is amazing… I divined this same design out of the blue recently for a scene in a book that I’m writing, where my characters find a dodecahedron surrounded by six circles, arranged exactly like the Metatron cube’s outer circles, in a chamber beneath the Great Pyramid. Seems like it was reverse engineered to find points that would fit. As the video states, you can create any shape using this simple fractal.
