Naming Your Little Geek. Oh my gosh. How great is that?! That's one thing I LOVE about this business. Besides finding books to sell, for $1 or less, usually, you can find fun books to give to friends. And THAT, my friend, is a fun book! Love the Jimmy Buffett story. Reminds me of a friend who always told the tale of riding around in the Shoals with some of his partying frat brothers one night and he passed out. He woke up later (it was daylight) in his friend's car and all his buddies were gone and he was just there by himself. He got out of the car and started walking and he went in this little diner and asked a lady where he was. He didn't recognize the diner. The lady said, in a very distinctive Creole accent, "Son, don't you know you're in New Orleans?" I can verify your statement. Alabama is great for finding books. My death pile is unreal and there are always tons of books to be found, more than I could ever list, even if I spent a lifetime doing it.
Nice finds, Shane ! That Hardin County history caught my eye, I'm in the next county above Hardin and spent a lot of time in Silsbee when I was in high school. Bet I know some of the folks in there.
Great Courses are really hit and miss. I think, if I remember correctly, there is one on learning Hebrew and one on Learning Greek that sell for quite a bit. Others, are 6-7 dollars. I got a bunch of them for free so I am trying to list the ones that are worth it. Nice finds! Hope you keep finding good stuff!
Great haul! Really like those last two genealogy books; I always look for those. “Naming your Little Geek” is too cool. I’m sure your friend and wife will like it. “100 Years of Electric Fans,” great find! A book I probably would have passed by. Happy Easter! Enjoy the day!
Well, genealogy topic. I just got a 1st/1st Fighting Pattons by Brian Sobel book signed by Major Gen George Patton (IV). His signature can fetch $200-$1000 alone Coupled with a great book......

Thanks! You too! Beautiful weather and weekend here in Alabama!
As for the eclipse, if you are on the eastside: Eastlake, Euclid, Mentor area, it'd be cool to meet you and say hello.
thank you, great video, Hi what scanner are you using? thank you
Hi- I use ScoutIQ. I’ve been happy with it.
@@curatorofthelost thank you for responding I mean do you use a barcode scanner for the books.
Sorry- no, I just use my phone direct. I don’t scan every book (use my hybrid eye and scan) so the phone is plenty fast for me.
