- We are going to the Mikvah! It's finally here and we cannot believe it. We are literally a few days away from becoming an OFFICIAL JEWISH family. This will be our last video as "non-Jews" and our last video as LaDerryl & Danielle. We appreciate you all for the love and support that you have shown us on our Orthodox Jewish Journey. We love each and every one of you as you all play a huge role in our lives.

I love the fact that the Torah portion for the week that you got the news is Lech Lecha - "Go Forth". And the portion for your actual mikveh day is Vayera - "And He appeared". You are truly going forth from your former life, and you will relate to the Divine as a Jew soon - you will "appear" to Hashem as Jews, and Hashem will "appear" to you (metaphorically) in the same fashion as to any other Jewish person. The symbolism of this will make me smile all day - congratulations!
