Jamie and Claire fall in love and we do the same with them; two extraordinary characters. Finally, season 1 is also the most faithful to the book. The most beautiful scene imo is the one when Jamie took Claire to Craigh na Dun instead of Lallybroch. It meant so much for him to bring Claire to Lallybroch he was so excited when he told Claire about his home but he chose to bring her to Craigh na Dun, her home. His love language is so simple but yet touching. Ahhhhhh Jamie set the standard high 💘

just finished watching the first season... their love is so strong. I really loved that there was no haters to lovers kind of a story. Jamie respected and cared about her from the very start. He is just perfect❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

With great chemistry between the leads .The lush greenery and the Fantastic music (especially the theme music Skye Boat Song) that gives life to the entire series! What is disheartening is that the name of the Music Composer has not been mentioned! I wonder why? I hope the production team will quickly look into this matter..
We need to know that Jamie wouldn't be the man he is if it wasn't for Claire. He readily gave her a beating, he wouldn't have done that after they fell in love because Claire made him a better man
And we all, specially younger viewers, need to understand that doesn't happen in real life, if a man hits you once or is violent in real life , don't believe you can change him for better, run .

The fact that it was "normal"( i repeat that i don't see ian or fergus doing that to jenny or marsali) back then, doesn't mean it was ok , and from a more modern perspective it makes no sense to forgive it.

Season 1 is an amazing introduction to the chemistry that Jamie and Claire share !
Season 1 really set the bar high with the show. Wish they would go back to Scotland - I miss all the scenes and scenery there.
In a future season they will, as in the novels, they return to Scotland for a visit, so we may get Scotland for a few episodes again.
