They should be mindful of the environment and not destroy it, like oil production has done to the Niger Delta environment

Wow! I never knew that Osun state has the largest Gold reserves in Nigeria. I thought Nasaeawa was the state with most reserves and mining capabilities. It is important that we restructure our governing system to ensure true federalism and let each state control and develop their own resources. Nigeria will be better for it and we will grow faster as a unit. This is a very good informational video. Thank you!

You dey mind dem. Are they really searching for the gold mine across the country? They stocked to this one because the owner is in government.

Story! story! story!!! This gold mine have been in existence for more than 80 years. My father told me about t when I was a child. If the federal government is ready to diversity as you want us to believe, the gold mine in the Nort is 10 times the gold mine in the South and they're being mined but illegally. Nigeria will make more money mining solid minerals than they presently making from oil. Even the Oil & Gas industry are they really developing it further? They want to waste money on new roads and bridges while the old roads are dilapidated and many idiots are clapping for them. Another major factor is that the North doesn't want to share their mineral resources with the South like the South is sharing their oil with Nigerians. That's why they don't raise any bill in the House of Assembly on how to develop our solid minerals. The politicians prefers to mine them illegally. and out the money in their private pockets. Nigerian politicians are not ready to grow the economy, they are only after illegal money, check out the state governors policies, it's all about borrowing money to build substandard infrastructures because they know that the majority doesn't have sense. You will here a former governor claiming he build 22 flyovers, doesn't flyover create jobs? None of them could say I built 100 affordable schools and industries. Na old flyover dey reign now. Apart From Enugu State is building schools. Only Mbah, Otti and Adeleke are ready to grow the economy of their States. The rest just want to borrow money and waste it on White Elephant projects like their predecessors did.

THE GOLD MUST BE STORED IN THE CENTRAL BANK ....NOT JUST EXPORTED FOR PAPER MONEY ...THAT HAS NO VALUE....

Gold doesn't produce money unless it is sold. Where do you expect the owner of the company and the government to see money, if the gold are not sold for cash? The buyer stores, the producer keep producing, no need to store. Until he becomes rich.

    My dear brother,
Does the Segilola comprise a Gold Processing Infrastructure?
Any body can commission a gold mine.
Gold is a raw material. Where is Nigeria's Gold processed?
    3. Who is and who has been Nigeria's Techincal Partners in this Venture?
    4. What is share structure?
    5. Are the Nigerian workers share holders or mere wage earners?
    6. How about the artisanal gold miners operating just behind Segilola?
    7. What arrangements have been put in place to make their endeavours sustainable without causing execissive environmental issues?
    8. Agriculture is the mainstay of our rural/local communities. Where did the Federal and Ogun State Govts remove our peoples to?
    Are they still into Agriculture?
    9. Oshun State Government and LGA Please where are you people in all of this?
    10. Nothing was said about Gold processing at Segilola. Why?
The money and employment-generation including inter-generational wealth for our communities are in the processing of our raw materials locally.
Please borrow a leaf from Aliko Dangote. Thank you.

How come Nigerians were/are unaware of this project? How are the local communities benefitting from the project. Why always foreign companies? Why were local investors/ companies not first engaged? The situation whereby Nigerians are deemed illegal miners and foreigners get mining rights should be discouraged. We need more transparency on our mineral resources.

There is gold in many places in Osun, majority are illegal miners. The Chinese and local people mining gold. The Federal government is not serious. That's why the country needs.to be restructured, so that states can take control of their God giving resources.
