I know it wasn't the main point of the video, but I really liked how you visualized the PRG and CHR ROM being mapped to known address space on the console.
I'd lost data repeatedly before actually following these instructions and since I started 13 some odd years ago I never lost a save again. I'd say it's worth the extra effort. Just be sure your reset button is in good shape since if it isnt the repeated rapid resetting will ruin your save. I lost a Dragon Warrior 3 save that way. :(
