What a great song request! Excellent reaction Ashley! 👍🏽😎❤️ I love Tamia! Her vocals are Fire 🔥! 😎 She is married to the legendary Grant Hill who I admire so much! Rest in Peace Quincy Jones and Rod Temperton!
Very true, i only knew Tamia's version, and i didn't know who mica paris was until i heard "never felt like this before" investigated her and i heard this song, i was pleasantly surprised.
@@dotunn You might want to explore some more of Mica Paris - she had a decent career but was not very well known. Her biggest hit is "My One Temptation" from her debut album "So Good"
Wow, Ashley, after more than 30 years this song still hits home.. Though it is an old Nathalie Cole song from the 70s, it never was given the release as a lead single if I remember correctly But now.... Oh My Gooodness Tamia Rocks Its..
I fell in love with her voice first time I heard this. Quincy Jones knew what he was doing. And yes that "Can't Get Enough" song that people line dance to is also from Tamia. On her "Between Friends" album.
A beautiful Acapella voice as well. She's Canadian and married to Grant Hill...if your husband is into basketball he might know that they have been married 25 years (I think 🤷🏾) ... this is the first time I've committed but I love your platform 😊 God's continuous blessings to you and your family 🥰
Mica Paris’s original version is a cracker and there is a big rabbit hole awaiting you … “I never felt like this before” is another one of her great hits.
Idk if you're old enough to remember Jukebox or The Box, but it was a music video channel that only played videos through paid call in request. When this song came out, that video was on damn near everytime I turned to the channel. I was a young teen at the time and was in my super hip-hop, anti-r&b phase, so it really pissed me off. Years later, once my ear matured, and life kicked me in the ass enough to embrace the vulnerability of classic r&b, I finally understood why this song was getting so much run on The Box lol!!! Needless to say, I still keep it in heavy rotation, just an all around beautiful song and performance....I should've known Quincy Jones knew what he was doing anyway 🤷🏾
Ma'am there is a band you need to check out from back in the 80s. The name of the band is Dreamboy. 2 songs you should hear. 1. Dont Go and 2. I Promise(I love you),you'll thank me later.
It's strange that you're not familiar with her catalog, she is one of the most popular rnb artist in South Africa, she has been in SA lots of times and her shows are always sold out.
This was Tamia's first song. Just like Tevin Campbell, Quincy Jones was coming out with new artists. You're right, Tamia did sing, "Can't get Enough."
The sister can SANG
You should check her song Stranger In My House!!!
You are loved is a great one too and chais lounge
What a great song request!
Excellent reaction Ashley! 👍🏽😎❤️
I love Tamia! Her vocals are Fire 🔥! 😎 She is married to the legendary Grant Hill who I admire so much!
Rest in Peace Quincy Jones and Rod Temperton!
The Genius of the LEGENDARY Iconic Mr Rod Temperton and Quincy Jones 💙💙
Written by Rod Temperton (MJ, Heatwave) and Produced and arranged by Quincy Jones - a Masterpiece!
I couldn't of said it better 👏🏾
This is a great request!
This song was done originally by Mica Paris on her 1993 "Whisper a Prayer" album
Very true, i only knew Tamia's version, and i didn't know who mica paris was until i heard "never felt like this before" investigated her and i heard this song, i was pleasantly surprised.

That's her girl ❤❤
I love Tamia! Great great song!
This honestly is my favorite Tamia song. She never got the credit she truly deserved. She's in that rare category and she doesn't have one bad song.
When you get a chance check out the actual video for this song. It's great (and Quincy Jones is in it.)
A beautiful song!
Quincy Jones was keeping the ❤ ballads alive in the mid 90,s before the beginning of "ratchet" R&B.
1 of my favourite ever tunes.
Yes Tamia & Grant Hill still happily married 25:years now, this song fits them perfectly
Great remake

Someone is paying for songs on the Quincy Jones albums. This was on Q's Jook Joint.
I fell in love with her voice first time I heard this. Quincy Jones knew what he was doing. And yes that "Can't Get Enough" song that people line dance to is also from Tamia. On her "Between Friends" album.
This song was produced by the late great Quincy Jones. I love this song.
The genius that is QUINCY JONES. And the underrated vocals of Tamia 😍

This was the song that put her on the map and her first hit. It is from Quincy Jones 1995 album, "Q's Jook Joint"

Tamia is underrated as a 🎤 singer
Tamia’s vocals are amazing and complimented by Greg Phillinganes keyboard wizardry🎹🔥

The music video to this is really nice. Hopefully, you checked it out.

Yeah, Grant Hill took that off the market!!!
Another FINE, talented sista from Canada. She's married to former NBA player Grant Hill.
Mica Paris a British singer song it first, yes she was a melenated British woman.
Yes, go down that hole. There are probably a couple that you recognize but just don’t know it’s her.
It's strange that you're not familiar with her catalog, she is one of the most popular rnb artist in South Africa, she has been in SA lots of times and her shows are always sold out.
This song is great, but a British artist named Mica Paris did this song before Tamia and in my opinion is better. You should do her original version.
