Excellent presentaion. I enjoy James Capo's presentations on Life Hope and Truth and his sermons within the COG. But with all due respect, I would like to point out that the COG in totality cannot even get along. I will not point to any group within the COG. I'm just asking the questions. Where is the unity among God's people? Why is the constructive collaboration of the COG's not being harnessed? Why can't we get along in the most crucial time of human history? Where is the consolation in Christ? Philippians 2:1-3 New King James Version Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
God's Kingdom to come is very much a time to look forward to. With God's help and through repentance we can experience that time to a degree on Earth now. A very interesting and poignant introduction showing that however man tries to produce a way of peace, they cannot without a spiritual God-given solution. The Bible gives us many examples of various people and the choices they made - some good and some bad for our learning. The narrow way is God's way of life - by keeping His Laws on a spiritual level - right down to our thoughts and attitudes, a change of heart.
Isaiah 40:3-5 NKJV [3] The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God. [4] Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth; [5] The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, And all flesh shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
There is only one answer in one word. Sin. That is the only reason we can't seem to get along. :( That will change VERY soon though for about a thousand years. After that, all hell will break loose literally.
What about me, what about how I feel, what about me,... The God I serve is NOT an abusive God ... Especially towards women, men inflict trauma towards women and that is not Godly. God wants us to have peace and contentment on Earth too.
Thank you for your comment. You are certainly correct that the true God neither abuses nor targets women. You’re also correct that human beings, especially men, have abused women throughout history. The prince of peace exposes the falsehoods and imposters but sometimes the enemy looks like the messiah causing conflict for selfish usery xx
