I absolutely applaud Korea's stance on school bullying. School bullying can ruin a life just as much or MORE than a physical accident or problem. Physical things can be gotten around and still a full rich life lived. Ruining a person's mind and thinking CANNOT!! Other countries just don't care, and these bullies, if anything are applauded and lifted in later life because they've learned to trample and destroy anyone who gets in their way in order to achieve their goals. They are sadly, our leaders in most of western society. This is how we ended up with today's CEOs and rich shareholders who almost universally just don't care about anyone other than themselves and the money they make. So much so that those people who try to reach these kinds of positions WITHOUT that kind of behaviour just don't make it - they get trampled by those who WILL behave ruthlessly. This is sadly the kind of world we now live in. Actions in the school yard should be documented and should follow that person throughout their life. Those that display a change in behaviour and thinking over time maybe could be slowly forgiven to some degree. But we don't need these kinds of people in authority over other people, and those who displayed this kind of behaviour in schools should be banned from ever being able to obtain that kind of authority or position in society. These people cause great harm to society, not only individuals, but the population as a whole with their uncaring decisions over time. This is how we've ended up with a world that just doesn't bother to fix it's problems for everyday people - homelessness, the polarisation between rich and poor, our fast increasingly unfair legal system where the rich always win, the raping of our natural world by those same people. These problems aren't fixed because those people just don't want to fix them. They WANT this kind of world with themselves as the bully on top. Sadly, these days, these disgusting people are now mostly our leaders in society. At least Korea does something about preventing that. The rest of the world could sometimes learn a great deal from Korea!!
