- British Vogue presents ‘In The Bag’ with Team GB diver, Tom Daley. The British Olympian reveals his travel essentials ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics, as we take a look inside Tom Daley’s Dior bag. “Knitting for me became my therapy,” explains the Team GB athlete. “This is the one thing that allows me to literally switch off. I could just sit down in a coffee shop and knit for hours on end, honestly.”
Other must-haves include a pride flag inspired swim shammy (“it’s really important as an out athlete for me to be visible”), his Team GB water bottle (“you’ve got to stay hydrated”) and a baby pacifier (“turn any corner in my house and there will be a dummy on the floor”). What makes Tom Daley an icon is that he radiates "inner peace" that just lights up the room. Tom speaks with wisdom that is well beyond his young age of 30-ish. He's just an absolute marvel and a treasure.

I am always astounded to see you knitting on planes. There was a time when we could not travel with manicure scissors.
My mum was once almost treated as a serial killer because she had a nail file in her bag and had forgotten about it... Three security guards around her and when they took it out they looked at her angrily saying "This is not allowed on board, either you leave it here or you're not boarding". It was her first time on a plane and she was so shaken... I get 9/11 had only been a couple of years before but it could have been dealt with differently imo

One suggestion for Tom, trade up to a Frank Clegg leather tote. Handmade full grain leather for a fraction of the cost of a logo emblazoned bag. Aren't Dior bags marked up by like 2,000%? You're paying for the logo and not so much of the quality.

No, that would be the fabric book tote. This one appears to be leather, and I can’t imagine the cost being much more than $100USD to produce.
That’s literally every luxury bag lol we have been fooled all cause of marketing
not saying the margins arent high, but $57 even if youre only counting just raw materials doesnt make sense for a leather bag

@@user-je6io6cv5d I know many many people who have studied, worked with brands on the materials, price, design, manufacturing and more, and teach students about brands, and luxury brands aren’t a scam at all luxury brands make very little profit when it comes to they’re clothing and the materials, craftmansship, testing, designing, research, and more cost way too much to make..
