He doesn't have a point. How on earth is the solution in a wood workshop to buy a plastic bracket Vs make a wooden holder with all the FREE wood off cuts you have?
@@TheMakomirocket I disagree with your premise. Based on this logic, since I am an electronics engineer I should make my own Televisions, smart phones, etc. instead of buying one. A software developer should never buy or use any other software unless they coded it themselves.
Stealthmounts make great products. I use them dor attaching stuff to my work cart. High vibration from rolling over rough surfaces means I need them held well.
Excellent; well put. It's weird to me that amongst the viewers of your brilliant channel, there are some thicko f@ckwits who need this explained to them. Keep up the great work and the superb videos, Paul, most of us love ya to bits 👏👍
@@odintree5704 Rubbish, total garbage. It was Very clear and obvious that this wall, inside a mansard roof, has a slope to it - which was why he used those brackets in the first place. Look again...
@@blueteeth.spooker I was referring to his original 30 sec short for this product, not this video. He made this video to clear up the issue with his original video. This video clearly shows the sloped roof and I gave him credit for that in the original post.
@@odintree5704 I had to look again myself to see what you were talking about…. Just re-watched the original short video, as well as the follow-up video with the Fail Nail - it's plain to see that it's a sloping wall - hence the need for the holding brackets. If it was a vertical wall, a nail would suffice. But because it does have a slope, and to keep the levels flush back against the wall, he employed brackets. Perhaps you are a relative newcomer to Jackman Works (?) - but since he moved to this new workshop with its sloping walls, he has made various items including a cabinet on wheels with a sloping back to accommodate the slope/room shape, and since he has shown the workshop many times, I suppose seasoned viewers are used to it by now, and its sloping walls… However, even to a first-time watcher, it seems Very apparent that the walls slope in the original video, and the second one… Can’t really understand how it could be perceived any other way ?!/?
@@blueteeth.spooker I am new. That other video he showed was the first video I ever saw of his and it was just a 30sec short that popped up for me. It does not show his entire workshop wall like this one does. This one is obvious and I gave him credit and I agreed with him that a nail would not work. Everyone can calm down, look at it this way, I got him to make a more entertaining video - his acting can use some work but the concept is spot on. lol
OK Jack - got the point - lol
I know, I know 😂. Just saw an opportunity and had to take it haha

@@TheMakomirocket the corect answer is: he didn't buy them, he made them aswell. 3D printer, very versatile
@@bl4cksp1d3rno he didn't. He shows that he bought them in literally his last short that this comment is from

Looks like you got your level after putting the wall up.
Dang... you need to fix that wall.
I’m thinking there’s foundation issues, a bit of settling
As someone pointed out he bought the level AFTER he built the wall. (Just kidding)
Looks like you should have used a level when you framed that ceiling..😂
Coulda used 2 nails, top & bottom
😂😂
I think we all saw that coming lol.

What about two nails ? Lol
That's not a 1 cent nail though. Looks like at least a 10 penny. 😜
Just use two nails

Sorry but by the original quick 30 second short it was not apparent that the wall was slanted. The camera angle did not clearly show it.

Dude, you have a shop, you could build brackets for less than $20. Put some scrap wood together like a man.
Time is money. Plus these are too cool to not use
